  1. My theory is that the "red" cruises are those that have been scheduled from the start. They are full because they have the people who originally booked for 2024 + the people from the cancelled spring 2023 sailings (some of whom were previously booked on 2022/21/20 sailings). Since then, Celebrity has added a bunch of new sailings, which are not sold out

If looking at Norway, which of these itineraries would you say is better:

    Bruges, Flam, Geiranger, Bergen

    or

    Stavanger, Geiranger, Flam, Haugesund

    Thanks!

I live in Belgium and Bruges is beautiful, so I can recommend that. I can also tell you that Flam is stunning! Stavanger is more industrial, but there are lots of lovely places around there. I haven't been to any of the others

  3. Hi OP,

I'm guessing you haven't cruised before. I would strongly suggest you leave your suitcase shore-side and only carry on what you need until you get your suitcase back. It's really busy on deck/in the buffet until people get their cabins.

The "porters" don't need tipping (there are signs up), but do as you prefer. The person bringing you suitcase to your cabin is probably a waiter, though.

There are people who bring the bags to your floor, then others who deliver them to your cabin, so you might find your suitcase in a group close to the elevators.

You will not be able to get close to guest services. It's crazy just after boarding.

    Enjoy your cruise!

Trying to convince someone to take a cruise who has had a bad experience on smaller craft is about as considerate as trying to convince someone to change their political affiliation or religion.

Really? I get terribly seasick/car sick, but I have always been fine on cruise ships with the help of a little medication.

While true, the ships have to get TO the fjords and to do so, most of them sail from ports like London or Amsterdam, then up the coast of Norway, then sailing into the various navigable fjords. Like the voyage shown below, which visits three of them:

Indeed, we had a delayed then very rocky departure from Rotterdam on our Fjords cruise in 2019. Getting the pilot off the ship and onto the helicopter was extremely spectacular

Thanks I have to fly home while only a 2 and half hour flight not going to take the chance

It really doesn't need to be refrigerated. You'll be fine.
