Our ship the Sapphire Princess is scheduled to be in Colombo on December 2, 2019. I am watching, waiting, and hoping it is not cancelled. We will need to get visas soon.
Â
Following this thread, as we are in the same boat (ship)   😎
Â
Visas are free for us so it is not such a big deal however any change to itinerary well that's just pure speculation!

If she is as spacious as the Diamond rather than like the Caribbean with the extra level of cabins, I will love her.

To the OP, Dobby, the Sapphire is based in Melbourne for that time, doing a few Adelaide itineraries where cruisers can  depart from, like the Golden did. You may see a bit more of Andy and I in Melbourne as we stalk the Sapphire😂
Â
Does this mean I needs a new welcome mat for certain peeps who may need a room before or after their cruz??

Dobby as above different  decor but the same menu. We havent been onboard since 2015, the large restaurant at the aft was traditional dining, the 4 smaller retsaurants, Pacific Moon, Savoy, Santa Fe and Vivaldi were Anytime, except for one which was used for early Traditional then became Anytime about 7.30pm........but with the change in dining times who knows now!!
Â
I suppose I could have just called you on the talking telefone but I am still paying off the bill from last time Â

If i hear of anything here Downunder I will be sure to post and let you know.
I noticed all the bookings for Sapphire in the Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Hobart and Freemantle port schedule a while ago, as but as we know Princess did that last season and then changed it to Majestic.
So  Majestic and Regal will be cruising from Sydney, and Sapphire will cruise from Melbourne for the 2020/2021 season.
Looks like they will all reposition here via Asia, but where will they head back to??? Majestic back to Asia? Regal back to the US or Europe? and hopefully the Sapphire to stay here haha!!
I knew that it had to be something special to draw Chezza out from under her hidey rockÂ

Hi all,
Â
I understand that there are four main dining rooms onboard Sapphire Princess.
Â
Apart from the decor can anyone shed light on the differences (cuisine, service etc).
Â
If it helps we have chosen Anytime Dining.
Â
Thanks in advance.

Hey don't you dare knock 'Pissweak world' or I will sick Charlie the wonder dog onto you.
Â
bring it on Fluffy!

I had a look at the website and I think this may be challenging Wobbies World or Piss Weak World for the 'underwhelm factor.'
Â
So called 'famous visitors' include Basil Brush, Stuart Little and Bob the F@#king Builder - gimme a break.
Â
In fact the last famous person of note visited in 2004 so there's a chance for someone from CC to visit two days in a row to end up in in their Hall of Fame.

We will be traveling on land and a cruise ( Magestic Princess) through New Zealand and Australia, looking for guidance in purchasing adapters and or converters that we may need, mostly phones, tablets, laptops but also a curling iron. The iron has has 120/240 on the iron itself, so I think voltage wise I am ok, but I am curious about the plug itself. Any info/help would be greatly appreciated!
thanks in advance for your help
Â
Are curling irons allowed? And NO!!! I am not asking for myself Chez!
