  1. Everyone is about to get a little more time to plan.

NCL is going to be changing the window for pre-booking dining & entertainment.

The new timeframe is going to be 90 days prior to embarkation and 100 days prior for those booked in a Suite (category H or S).

SeaShark, you forgot to add a citation!!!

    :D

  2. Dose the BA have angry orchard & if it does, is it included ?

I have a friend who would do well with the UBP, but it wouldn't do much for me, so I'm sort of trying to see if there is anything that might justify the cost for me.

(Hey NCL, if your reading this thread..add specialty coffee to the package ;))

  3. I've been to Alaska 5 times, and I have taken the whale watching tour in Juneau each time. I love it. I combine it with a stop at Mendenhall glacier. I have always booked the excursion through the ship, (I'm on vacation, so I let someone else handle the details, LOL) but I know people do this on their own. Alaska is so beautiful, & there is so much to see & do, that you really can't go wrong.

As I said, I've been there 5 times & the only repeat excursion has been the whale watching in Juneau. Pick some excursions, and plan on a return trip, LOL

    Enjoy your cruise:)

  4. We have the ubp and udp on our upcoming trip and are very excited! Does anyone know if milkshakes and some coffees etc are included too? Thanks!

Nope! I still don't understand why I can have a $10.00 glass of wine, but not a coffee for $2.50. Seems silly. As for the milkshakes, I personally have never seen a milkshake offered on any of my cruises. I might have missed them, but given the fact that I love ice cream, I doubt it, LOL

  5. FYI - the reason the OP did not post her email address as a full address is because then it is searchable, even by bots. It is okay to take that chance with your own email address (but you really shouldn't) but please don't do it with other people's. I separated it as some do to avoid bots. (Just trying to help)

So sorry, I had no idea. I would never intentionally compromise someone's info. Thank you for heads up.

  6. At the moment, Skidder has one and JuneaMe has the other... But, I'd be happy to keep you in mind should that not pan out.

Thank you LocardsChild!!! I have a "thing" for the ship pins. For a time, NCL wasn't giving them out. I guess it was during the design change phase. I hope you find your Jade pin. I emailed you my info.

  7. On our last cruise on the Epic, because of the additional embarkation ports, we managed to receive several extra of the Latitudes pins. I've still got 2 more that I'd love to rehome.

If you're interested, please let me know. I'd ship them in a padded envelope to any US address for free. (Please don't post your address on the thread, just let me know if you're interested!)

Along the same lines, if anyone has an extra Jade ship pin laying around...

    Happy Cruising!

    B

If you have one to spare, I would love to give it a good home. I'm sending you an email. If I understand correctly, it's LocardsChild@hotmail.com

    Thank you

    Donna

  8. I was successful on one cruise by simply going up to the guest services desk and asking for the main dining room menus for the week. On subsequent cruises however, this request was received with confused looks and the answer was no.

Yep! I have seen that look before:confused:

  9. but I'd be very surprised if you can get them beforehand.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

LOL No not before, when I get on the ship

My bad. I misunderstood your question. That would be nice to know that. I hadn't really thought about it beforehand because I know there's always something we can eat in the main dining rooms.

There are somethings I really enjoy & some that are just ok, so I thought that doing the specialty on the "just ok" day's would be a good thing. Looks like I gave you something to think about for your next cruise, :)

  10. You didn't mention which ship?

The Beyondships site is ok, but it does not show the daily MDR menu specials for all of the ships.

Sorry my bad (the Breakaway) My thread title is poorly worded. I would like to see the actual menu rotation when on the ship, so I can plan wich day to book a specialty restaurant.

  11. Hi, I was wondering if I can see the menus for the week, so I can plan when to book a specialty restaurant. On my cruise last year I was told "We don't have the menus anymore. They're posted each day outside of the dinning rooms" Well that didn't help me at all, LOL! Besides, who wants to spend the time trolling the dinning rooms each day.

    Thanks
