I love rome..we forgot to drop coins in the trevi on our last visit so we may never make it back...

I have no problem with taking she who must be obeyed on a cruise..our next one will be our 29th...its the renewal of vows thing...I keep telling her that since one of our witnesses at our marriage was underage I can always try for an annulment...so a renewal would remove that option..I think thats funny...she still loves me so that tells you what a gem she is
enjoying your review
and you just proved you are a mountie..only the rcmp still uses wordperfect

1. I am a mountor not a mountie (sorry but that is my standard line with mounties..gets me beat up a lot)
2. nice going...she who must be obeyed is loving your posts..especially the vow renewal stuff..coming up on 30 years of marriage next year...thanks to you she will have expectations...I kinda figured my paying attention to her between periods of the Oilers games on tv would be enough
I haven't actually read much here..so I am posting so I can find this when I have some time.

the main terminal has a left luggage place..but its likely easier and cheaper to arrange with your hotel to store the bags for a bit..or..you could pay my way on the cruise and I will gladly look after your luggage for you

also saw a post of mine that reminded me to suggest that you book a train that terminates at the port..through trains stop on the middle tracks and you have to carry your luggage down a set of stairs then up a set to use the tunnel under the tracks...that is if moving luggage is an issue
-
it was a typo ..honest...
-
search the port name..there is a post with a link to a website that shows the hole deal with photos
-
wont try and spell it...if you arrive on a train that uses a middle track you have to go under the track via stairs and then back up to the station...not a joy with luggage..somebody told me that if you take a train that ends in the port you use the outside track and no stairs involved..not sure this is true...we shared a cab to the ship with another couple...there was a bunch waiting outside the station..doable if you had to by walking
-
level..you can roll your wheeled luggage all the way to the train..have to lift them up stairs into the train though

my friends and I raced the circus maximus...we then did the apian way out of the city as well as the usual stuff..we ran them so hard and so long that one of them seized up from overheating....that was a long time ago but it is a favourite memory

I rented a moped in rome when I was 19 and had very fast reflexes...just about died several times from a combination of my stupidity and the wreckless driving of Italians...driving in Rome is not for the faint of heart......but it was FUN
