Thank you for taking us along on your extended cruise journey! Hope you feel better soon, glad this didnt happen at the beginning of the cruise, that surely would have been miserable!

When I got home from work yesterday, I squoze some limes and started making some margaritas. I had some leftover rotisserie chicken that I heated up, and pretty soon I was eating everything else that I had lying around. Gorgonzola cheese, pistachios, potato salad, and who even knows what else. Around nine o'clock, I turned out the lights and made my way to bed. 

 

I did take a decent little walk this morning, and stopped by Publix before the thanksgiving rush arrived. Getting ready now to find some lunch before my afternoon of window washing begins.

Well Sid, i learned a new word from you today "squoze" 🤣

In Grand Cayman, we have done the 2 stop stingray & snorkel excursion thru Captain Marvin's, ones of the best excursions we have done!

In Montego Bay/Falmouth, we have done day passes at a few of the resorts, but prices have really gone up  for these since Covid.

For Costa Maya, we have done Maya Chan, and agree with what others here have said. We've done YaYa Beach, and a few other beach clubs down there. We really liked YaYa, good food, good prices for day passes. We've also rented a golf cart and drove ourself around, had lunch/used the beach at one of the beach clubs. 

For Roatan, we have done Little French Key 3x (not sure what in the heck is going on with that place these days!) it was one of our favorites! We've also taken the flying cjairs the beach right there at the port (Mahogany Bay), and had a good beach day. For our cruise this month we are going to try Maya Key. Lots of good reviews on that place. 

Another suggestion for transportation to Galveston, check out Saltwater Moms, heard/read good things about them. 

Whatever you choose to do, enjoy your Xmas cruise 🙂

I would appreciate reciprocal prayers as well. Had a biopsy on my breast today. Three to five business days for results. The waiting is WAY worse than the procedure. 

Ugh I hate the waiting game for medical results!

Had my Presurgical appts.  I met with at least 5 different people then had more blood taken.  I was drained when we left but now one more hurdle, a COVID test Saturday morning, my first one since all this began then surgery Monday morning.

 

This time next week I will be home miserable but on the road to recovery!

 

Since COVID has changed so many things in our society it is amazing the things one must do before a major surgical procedure.  Also, no more family waiting room during surgery, drop the patient off, go home and someone will call you to keep you up to speed.  Since it is a traffic nightmare driving into and out of Boston I've requested no visitors, let me rest and work on getting in and out of bed.

 

Prayers would be appreciated.  This is the longest time Gary & I have been apart in 24 years!

FYI - I've sailed on Oasis, Quantum, Anthem, Adventure, Voyager, Radiance, Grandeur, Vision, Enchantment, and ships no longer in Royals' fleet.

You are correct, thank you, that was my mistake. It was our 2005 Voyager cruise that it was on. 

Our very first cruise was on Majesty in 2004 and there was a $4.95 cover charge at JR's. Ive seen a 2011 compass for Majesty and it was still $4.95.
