Kids finally dropped off. Meme has a new golden doodle I played with for a bit. Now home. One more white claw and a shower. Then bed to be up at 5:30.

My dad was telling us all about being in New Orleans last weekend. They had a good trip and really enjoyed the dinner reservations I made them. As we were leaving, his brother and sister and their families were coming in. So he’ll stay and visit with them another hour or two. 😆 We, however, have other things to do. Gotta get these kids dropped off and start the cruise party.

Mr. Megan just declared that he’s on vacation. I’m waiting on two emails. The struggle is real. We decided we will have our regularly scheduled dinner stop tonight. So it’s gonna be margarita:30 in a few hours. This restaurant has been “here” over 50 years. It’s my family’s every Friday dinner spot for my whole life. At one point, in my teens, I was over it, so the only thing I’d eat there is chicken fried steak. I’ve come back around since then… probably because of margaritas.

Definitely preferred. I need Cantina Laredo ASAP.

I’m at the point, that if it’s not packed, I don’t need it. I’m charging back up chargers and ear buds. Last load of laundry is in the dryer. Colton’s social calendar is full of birthday parties while we are gone, so presents are all assembled, wrapped and ready for him to sign cards. Waiting on a few more work things and then that “out of the office” will auto-post on the social media at 5pm. Wahoo.
