Epic, St. Paddy's Day 2018. Paid sales tax on drinks in O'Sheehan's in Canaveral until out to sea.

I'm finding it hard to believe that bathrooms in any new USA homes/buildings built in the last 20 years are not built with ground fault circuit interrupters. (circuit breakers)

I'm just wanting to do a Havana cruise. Not a big fan of 7 day cruises but if I have to I will.

Bumping to Friday......
-
One of the benefits of the buck a beer tip on the UBP is my friendly bartender gives me bottled water for my coffee maker!
-
Buck a beer (order) and they call you by name ahead of the others......
They are caring for me, I care back.............

Your title inquires about the Epic and your post asks about the Breakaway???
Other than that, I have no answers for you..

If I'm not mistaken, I believe the Sky does The Bahamas on the Fri-Mon cruise and Cuba on the Mon-Fri cruise, no?Please tell me you have inside information! I read earlier that dates were supposed to be announced June 1. Don't know if people realize but the Sky is scheduled to go to the Bahamas until April 29 2019, so no Cuba in March for it. -
Here's one that I think helps me get the best out of the help: Leave a one dollar tip every time someone helps you. You'll be recognised instantly after and they will fall over each other o get to you. $20 a day for the best service offered....
-
I hope you're wrong. I want to go in March!

My favorite ship. Trying to book a March cruise to Cuba. Itinerary isn't available yet.

Bride and enjoy our coffee with dry creamora. We bring our own on every cruise. Our cabin attendant always left us plenty of the coffee packets for our wake-up coffee on our balcony, bottled water courtesy of the casino. To me, the free coffee was great, so there really is no need to buy any. The coffee in the room is very good, but the best coffee I had is in Taste. -
Enjoying your review. I too sailed Epic last week. I'm curious, I see you have a pre-teen/teenager with you. By any chance did he participate in the scavenger hunt set up by the other youngsters on Friday? I was asked to use my photo for it and agreed, but have not yet seen any results, if I ever will.

Sailed Sky in early April a couple years ago. There was a very large group from either Kennesaw or Valdosta from Georgia. They had fun, got a little more happy than most of the other passengers, but for the most part kept to themselves and were respectful of others. If you get upset the very minute you board and see the unexpected, you will ruin your trip and maybe the others in your group.
I've sailed on two High Seas Rallies, the second was the chartered one on Brilliance. The first one was about 3,000 motorcycle (bikers) enthusiasts. Met some wonderful non-biker people and there were a few upset as well.
Remember, other folks are on vacation as well. Ignore what you don't like and enjoy your vacation too!

Sailing next Saturday, St. Paddy's Day. Drunken college students and wanna-be Irish. Should be fun.
Not complaining..........

I've found the best service is given to those that recognize the worker. Even though I have the UBP I still tip the server for each drink. Very simple dollar every time gets you to the head of the line quickly. A fin in the dining room has the same effect if you try to get the same table. So, $20 or so bucks a day is nothing and it gets you great service.

Thanks for the quick answers.

Thirteen, on the Epic!
-
Thanks for the links.. Guess we'll pass on them.
New question: How can I start a thread in a specific sub-forum, like the Epic?
-
Do they work on cruise ships and in ports? Sailing on the Epic to GSC, Ocho Rios GCI and Cozumel.
-
I seem to be stuck in search limbo here. Can somebody please help me start a new thread on the Epic forum?

Doing the Epic in March and this thermal spa is enticing to me. On previous cruises I've used the spas exclusively for my hygenic needs. The steam room is my favorite and the showers are more roomier than the cabin ones. Hence my question. Is the steam room/showers exclusive only to the thermal pass? Two hundred more for a shower/steam is pretty steep.

Thanks neighbor! It's a great update! Love your story, have a great cruise! -
Bump for High Seas Rally 2017 on The Brilliance of the Seas. First time charted cruise. Departs Tampa Mon, 12/4
Bride and I will be on our second HSR, with friends who've been on most.
I'm sorry the OP chose not to partake. On my first we did the Bob Marley Experience in Jamaica. Met a beautiful woman from England who chose to do the excursion alone. We had a great time together and communicate often on FB. Her young teenage son waits patiently for his day to become a biker!
Parking in New York
