  1. Who cares. It's still nice to know what the other cruise lines are providing.

    Because - Posters might answer a Princess question and another poster might post a Disney answer which does not hold true for Princess - there was a previous post about some kind of package for $29 and it led some folks to believe it was a Princess package

  2. Thanks for this but I am scared to drink the water from the bthrm tap as on a previous cruise i did and ended up in bed with pneumonia for a week. I don't know if it was the water that caused it but it did smell a little off in that bthrm for the entire cruise. I had never had pneumonia prior to that and don't want to take any chances as it was super brutal and devastating to waste a week in bed. I was too ill to even consider flying home as that would have been more painful than staying and sleeping 24/7. BTW don't know why people keep referencing Princess since i'm going on a Carnival cruise.

    If you are cruising Carnival you are on the wrong board - this is Princess

  3. Whenever I see trays of dirty dishes in the hallway I am tempted to move them right at the door of the cabin so the occupants step on them when leaving, but, my wife will not let me do it!

  4. :cool::cool::cool:

    That was 2015 - there was a couple in March 2017 who was given the tour and other stuff as it was their 50th anniversary - can do without flowers and hordouvers and bridge tour - we still get $75 based on cruise credits - We will have over $450 OBC for each leg next year. Life could not get better

  5. It's to bad you missed out on the 50th cruise goodies package. Flowers, horderves, bridge tour and whatever else they would have thrown in. ;)

    We will get that next year. We get the hourderves now but give them to Stewart unless they are the chocolate covered strawberries

    They used to bridge tours for everyone - so there would be nothing new there - being an engineer I would love an engine room tour but nobody gets this.

  6. And you should never disagree with your DW and always compliment her when she is at her best. Enjoy your cruises

    Strange coming from you but I do every chance I get - we have had 48 wonderful years tgether and 50 cruised, 48 on Princess - next year we will have 50 Princess and 50 years.

  7. Grand Cayman is the only tender and you are not going there - Princess Cay, of course, os tender and you will stop there depending on weather. Amber Cove, I think, is a new port off of Haiti - we were there but do not remember if it is a tender - we rarely leave the ship since we have seen all of the islands several times.

    Your cruise itinerary on the Princess website will tell you

  8. I will make this non aggressive - when and if Princess introduces a casual/formal dress code I will still wear my navy suit white shirt and tie. My DW of 48 years thinks I still look good in a suit and I think she looks great in a nice pantsuit or dress.

  9. Re bringing water onboard....excuse me if I don't understand the responses as I find they're lacking in info. I will be flying to the port from a very long distance. Do I bring my case of water to the airport from home and check it in with my luggage? I'm thinking there might be a big charge for that. Alternately once i'm in my Florida hotel to overnight before boarding the ship where will I find a case of cheap water in a fancy hotel and then how can a 75 yr old lady carry her luggage, a carry on, a camera and a case of water too? I know from my previous cruise the cost of my water onboard was extremely pricey. Someone here mentioned something like $6.00. Hey, i'd be happy if I could buy a case of water from the ship for that!!!

    This is an old thread but may I suggest you bring a sport empty bottle from home, fill it from the tap in your room or the dispenser in the buffet and you will not have to buy or lug water.
