  1. Ignore her, she's being beyond ridiculous

She seems all bent out of shape over this post lol.

All I was trying to do is figure out why I have to pay gratuities twice. Once when I purchased my ultimate dining package and another daily charge for "dining services" if I am never being waited on by anyone other than staff at the specialty restaurants that I will only dine in the entire cruise.

  2. I have a question...I am sailing with my 2 little girls only, and we have the Ultimate Dining Package. We will not be setting foot in the Main Dining Room. Am I expected to leave my tips on my account even if I dont ever go there? Im already paying 170$ PLUS 20$ for the kiddos per night to dine at the specialty restaurants.

  3. Ill be on a girls only vacation with my 6 and 9 year old daughters on the Oasis of the seas.

I will have the ultimate dining package. Im looking forward to going to a different restaurant every night and understand that most people allocate 2 hours to enjoy their meal. Im wondering if the meal can be "sped up" so to speak, my kids wont want to sit for 2 hours. I read on another website/blog that kids under 13 aren't recommended for 150 Central Park. I was hoping to take them there specifically. If anyone has any experience dining with kids at any of the specialty restaurants I would love to hear about it.

  4. Thanks for this info. DH smokes cigars (TORPEEDOs) and has a hard time going to the areas with wind. He loved the Connoisseur Club on the Freedom but found it hard to find a place on the Oasis. We will check it out next cruise in July.:D

I would love to hear your experience with this as its pretty important to me. If you wouldnt mind reporting back that would be so helpful!

  5. I have read the RC smoking policy yet have heard many conflicting reports regarding cigar smoking outside on deck 15 on Oasis. Has anyone actually gone on a recent trip and can answer weather they allow cigar smoking on deck 15? At a bar or like standing by the side near the railing? I like to have a cigar at night after dinner on vacation and am curious what my options are. Thanks.

  6. so I am hesitant to purchase the vroom(?) internet because I am afraid I'll be using my phone more than I would like to if I have unlimited internet. I'll be alone with my 2 daughters and would like to be able to FaceTime my husband a few times from the ship but otherwise leave the phone in my stateroom. I can't seem to locate the price for internet access? Is it sold by the minute or how does it work?

  7. I made a last minute decision to take my 2 children on a girls trip Aug 05 or 06 for a week on a cruise in the Caribbean. We live in South Florida so were close to all of the florida ports. Im kinda new at this and am very confused by the pricing. It seems like first of all the prices are exactly the same on the cruise line website as they end up being on the travel agency sites. (after you get past the shockingly inaccurate low low price offers) What is the benefit of booking on one site vs the other if all of the prices are identical? Maybe Im missing something. Secondly the prices seem to go up and down daily, is there a point where the prices are the least expensive/most expensive? Since its last minute I feel like I am gambling and Im kind of stuck and not knowing which cruise to pick in case the more expensive ones drop in price and Ill regret booking the less expensive one.

Thank you for any help, I hope this makes sense.
