  1. I always book through my PVP, but she has been there 20+ years and is excellent. I cannot imagine having to navigate all the Covid related cancellations and rebooking over the last 3 years on my own or trying to go through customer service.
  2. A good PVP is worth a lot! I’ve had the same one for 20 years since I started cruising and the same PVP as my BF. Today I noticed a new offer, and price checked one of my booked cruises (14-day Alaska next April) -it looked like a savings so I called her. She called me back within the hour and changed the booking on that cruise AND said she thought it would lower my balance on the 12-day Pride cruise in August-total savings just under $1000! In order for her to do changes like this without fees etc., she has to do the original booking.
  3. There is the Mongolian Wok for lunch which is a station in the buffet.
  4. I was waiting to see Carnival itineraries for Europe in 2024 too, but my PVP said she didn’t think we’re going to offer anything, so I booked 14 day Alaska instead!
  5. Thanks for the heads up - do you remember which ports were not tenders?
  6. I was on the TA cruise and had a ton of OBC and deposits that have been moved multiple times since my BTB European cruises in August ‘ 20 were cancelled. After the initial shock of the email wore off I started looking at other options and ended up rebooking on the Pride for a 12-day Ireland/Scotland/Iceland itinerary. My PVP is great-she moved all of the credits over, and tacked on the FCC which was 25% based on the TA fare (quite a lot more than the new cruise), and the additional $100 OBC. I was also really fortunate to get United to change my one way non refundable ticket to a RT with the new dates for only about $400 more. Now I need to work on the hotel I prepaid for two nights! All in all the best I could make of the situation.
