Best Christmas movie of the season, "I Believe in Santa" on Netflix. Me being a Christmas freak and loving watching Christmas movies (So far 35 this season) I have found a movie that speaks to my heart. This movie about a guy who totally loves Christmas and who believes in Santa, is totally about me and my views. It's fun and heartwarming and has a great message. Want to know who I am? Watch this movie. Here is the trailer.

I have actually done "Live Shots" where all those things were done except the one at the beach since Kansas City has no beaches. I will give my station credit last night they had no reporters standing outside in the cold. Most were either indoors or in our live van driving down the highway. I can't tell you how many times I did live shots out in the freezing cold. I don't miss those days at all.

So sorry Jane. I hope your symptoms are mild and you can resume your holiday schedule soon. Take care and rest. Looking good. Looking forward to seeing the final result pictures. Wind gets a little gusty but not too bad. Right now it's about 20mph. Snow has just about stopped. It was very fast moving. We probably have 2 inches.

We watched tonight because I wanted to see if it would be Capt. Sandy. The Below Deck Reddit pages were all speculating that it would be Sandy and it makes sense. I know there are a lot that don't like her but I do. Even if she micromanages. Yep she is derailing very fast. Did you notice how Sandy was cleaning the galley? I've never seen her do that before. I wonder if she took note of Capt. Jason and all the things he does to help out. Also did you notice the whip in Capt. Lee's luggage before he left. I didn't know the Captain was kinky?????

Sorry I haven't been around much. Trying to get ready for the last Christmas party I'm hosting. This is number 3 with some of my remaining family members and some of my dearest longtime friends. Unfortunately one couple had to cancel due to Covid, another ended up with last minute conflict, and two dad and son who i've worked with for years are on the road to cover the Chiefs game in Houston. So I went from 12 to now 6 and it's depressing but what can you do? All the food is ordered and I will have to make due. At least one bit a good news. My liquor store owner friend came through on my request to purchase a highly coveted and allocated bourbon Pappy Van Winkle 12 Family reserve. Going to crack it open tonight. Cheers everyone.

It's a common issue with TV stations. They have a responsibility to alert people but sometimes they go overboard. I think some of it is a fear that if something horrific happened and people died others would say they were not alerted. Plus you have the fact that all the stations are competing with each other so no station wants to go back to regular programming first. All the stations want to be the last and also they want to appear that they are going wall to wall with coverage. Drives me nuts. I can't tell you how many live shots I had to do where there was nothing going on but the producers felt the coverage needed to be continued.
