It makes me happy to know I’m not the only one who loves Hallmark Christmas movies. Even as a guy who even cries after watching most of them I wonder if people will question my manhood but feel I am what I am and I am ok with it. To me the movies are fun, positive and who doesn’t love a good love story. Now while this years movies have more exciting plots that aren’t the usual predictable plots, one thing you can do is play the Hallmark Christmas Movie Drinking Game. Linda’s getting a little nervous about her surgery. They say it is more painful than knee replacement. If that’s the case I feel real sorry for her. I will help her as much as I can. The only thing I worry about is helping her get up with my hernia. I saw the hernia surgeon yesterday. He says it looks like my intestine is not protruding from the hole which is good. I will end up having surgery in early February. I’m still uncomfortable but I can deal with it. Doctor said if I start to get severe pain down there to immediately come in and they will do emergency surgery. Love the mooring line pics. Winner Winner! Chicken dinner. I have not used those but I have a pair of professional volume damping earplugs. I have worn them at concerts and they work great by limited the volume by -25-30db while sonically allowing all frequencies in.

I’m sorry that’s kinda sad. I hope I never get to that point.

She’s been hurting. She has said if the surgeon wants to do my hernia surgery quickly she would postpone her rotator cuff surgery but I’m saying no to that. She’s been in pain and needs it done. We will deal with whatever we have to do. Merry Christmas Maryann! Sounds like Season 2. It’s addictive I think you will love it. The yachts, the locations and food are the stars. The crew and drama is the side show. Too bad they didn’t have the Hallmark channel. Do you like their Christmas movies? I’m a big fan and the movies this year have been their best. Hallmark got new writers and the plots and characters are really good. I’ve watched all of them over the years. One of my favorite things to do during the holidays. Merry Christmas to you and Marty.

Just back from knee surgeon everything looks good. Right on target for for bend as I’m at 116 degree and doctor says I should be in the 110-120 degree range. Now I have matching metal. Next up appointment with surgeon for my hernia tomorrow. Knee surgeon would like for me to wait till the 3 month mark which would be February 3rd to avoid risk of infection but also adds if the Cat-scan of the hernia makes it more or an emergency to fix it I would go ahead and have the hernia surgery. I told my surgeon that we should get frequent flyer points as I’ve had two knees done there and Linda has had her hand surgery and on the 26th her shoulder surgery at the same orthopedic surgery hospital.

Wishing your mom a successful hip surgery and recovery. I have been seeing a lot of hip replacements at my therapy. Moat people seem to so pretty well. I will be thinking of her and you. Get some rest. Thanks for sharing. Yes it's amazing how dogs know when you are hurting and will comfort you. Now that I am doing better they go to the other end of the couch and lay on Linda.The fact that she has a heating blanket over her might make the difference for them abandoning me. 😉

So happy to hear Dave that you daughter will get everything resolved. Give her my best from Sea Dog from a successful surgery and recovery. I have no doubt you will be able to pull off all the wedding preps. I love Marty and Helen! They are such wonderful people. I can't wait to sail with them again. Yes Luka I really admired at first but now he just seems to have "Gary Syndrome" and wants to hook up with anyone he can. My favorites are Laura and Haleigh.

Thank you to everyone who weighed in on our decision to put permanent lighting on the house. We have to decided to postpone this purchase as we could do it basically anytime. Right now we want to focus on our health with Linda’s upcoming Shoulder surgery, my hernia surgery and then surgeries for Linda’s foot and possibly back. We also will keep the money we would have spent for our cancelled Beyond cruise to either pay off early our artificial pet turf in the backyard or put it towards a more expensive cruise to Hawaii or Transpacific or Europe. It’s easy for me to get caught up in everything Christmas. I know me and I know waiting to think on something and not be impulsive is better. Thanks everyone for caring and your thoughts.

I love it his picture. Cats are so funny. I’m amazed that our cat Kylar doesn’t mess with our trees at all. He does like to nap under them on the comfy tree skirts. I feel bad for Charlie. BP issues are not fun. Linda’s mom had issues like that and we found out it was due to low potassium. You might have the doctor check that. Glad your basement is dry. That’s always a concern for us in a low lying area.

I’m sorry Dave to hear about your DD. I hope the antibiotics do their thing and she feels better and all of you can relax and enjoy your cruise. Nice that you gave access to the DL during happy hour on this keg. We really enjoyed happy hour in the DL.

Thanks for your thoughts. I agree. Still a little undecided. The problem with these lights is that they are mounted on the underside of the soffit so the are kinda hidden and blend into your house unlike Christmas lights. When you are facing the house you see all the lights but if you are off to the side some of the lights are obscured but you see the effect on the house. Not sure I like that or not..
