Thanks for the quick reply. You’ve shown us dishes we feel we MUST try, good thing it’s a two week cruise.

Great videos, thank you for showing a huge variety of offerings. I was surprised to see very few fish and seafood offerings in the Lido, or perhaps I just didn’t notice them.
-
Perfect, thank you, exactly what I need to know.

For those who have sailed recently, is the Pinnacle Gala meal usually held on a Gala night in the MDR? ie, are they the same day or not? I’m inquiring about a 14 day transatlantic if that makes any difference.
Thanks.

Ok, thanks….I’ll need to do some hunting on the Oosterdam.

Do any of the other ships have a place to buy gelato too?

I would like to know who to email about reversing the decision to allow smoking in the casino. It will certainly keep me out of there.

I wouldn't focus on these...much has changed since these menus were used. We sailed on KDAM in Feb/March...I don't recall those phrases being on the menu then, and the menus we saw were different in a good number of ways.
Yes, it certainly looks like much has changed!!
Looking at their cc thread and also the blog done by theinsidecabin.com, the recent Zuiderdam menus show very few references to the “mystery seafood of the day”. The itinerary included Hawaii and SouthPacific ports, and many of the fish dishes reflect these locales. They’ve included very clear pictures of 35 mdr menus on their website and it was an interesting read. -

Lido deck main and Dunmore--do you download a PDF to the ArriveCAN--is that how you post the covid vac. certificate? Or? Thank you for your help.
Yes, we did exactly as luvteaching said, and took a picture of our QR code on our vaccination card and it uploaded automatically.

Air Canada also has the information for ArriveCan right on their website as well as on their app.
Westjet does too.We couldn’t print/download our flight’s boarding passes until the ArriveCan info was completed.

Thanks for sharing the website. It is helpful.

I’m impressed with how many selections there are, especially with the appetizers. Were you required to order a day ahead?

I can’t wait to read about y’alls’ adventures as I enviously follow along. Enjoy.

It must be typical because mine looked exactly like that last night.
Thankyou. That is exciting, can’t wait to try it.

Would that be a typical presentation of lobster tail in Rudi’s or is that a special New Year’s Eve version?

Thanks for providing us with all the fine details and photos. Have a great holiday.

I guess I spoke too soon. For some reason, I had to log in to the Navigator app on my iPad (I've always just been able to tap on it and *poof*, I'm in), and now the place where the menus appear is gone. Grrr. We enjoyed sitting at our kitchen table having dinner, reading the menu and deciding what we'd have as an alternate to what was on our plates.
That’s the same as my iPad, just a sample menu comes up, for a single evening in the mdr. ( and it never changes) There are menus for Pinnacle, Canaletto, but not the daily ones that used to come up for mdr and Lido.

I had many types of cold fruit soup growing up, Scandinavian heritage. They were primarily berry based, redcurrant or rhubarb added for variety. Cornstarch or various sizes of tapioca to thicken. Delicious in the summer, maybe with a dollop of whipped cream or croutons. There is another kind that my parents still make, and I refuse to partake, it’s made by soaking dried prunes, apricots, and raisins, cinnamon sticks. To each, their own.
