Young lady at work has asked about cruising. I'm not the most experienced, but I answered what I could. She had one question I didn't know how to answer though.
She has four children, ages 3-12. All are girls. Assuming all four children, my co-worker, and her BF go, would they be permitted to go in one storeroom? Or would they be required two rooms?
Thanks in advance.

I went on my last cruise very shortly after having four bottom front teeth removed. Had to really learn how to eat again. Had to pass on some menu selections, but I ate very well.

Worth noting, there are MCO-Canaveral shuttles for a reasonable fee that can take a lot of the stress out of getting back and forth.
-
The "beachline" is a toll road so I assumed OP would end up going I-4. But even then, MCO can be challenging to get into/around...
-
I-4 from port Canaveral to MCO is notorious for traffic jams and wrecks. Allow at LEAST three hours travel.

For us, it was 2:15 after the ship started moving away from the dock.
Sounds about right. Depending on bay traffic and other factors, it could be a couple minutes one way or another. This time of year, it will be dark already and the bridge lit up, so it's a beautiful sight.

Two things:
Love Grand Cayman! Would happily go there as replacement!
We are just off Rhapsody earlier this month, and indeed stopped at Key West (Military Dock) there was another cruise line ship at the downtown dock. Did not observe any damage or reason why a ship could not stop there. Damage done was minor and had been fixed.
There is some other reason your itinerary was changed...not dock damage cause.
The damage was done to one of the mooring dolphins at the Mallory pier berth. This has removed one of the pier berths until repairs can be made. Being a native conch, I can tell you that NOTHING gets done quickly in Key West.

Manders, out of curiosity, are you using the RCCI app onboard? I found out after my cruise that Brilliance supports it. Curious how it actually works.

Much better weather than on my December 15 sailing! We were going to do Sanchos, but it was rainy and windy..👍

The stern area behind Boleros is a designated smoking area and one of my favorite haunts when I sailed her last year. Very peaceful, nice seats, awesome view.

Just back from Brilliance. At first all the drinks came with paper straws. About day 2 or 3, plastic....

This is wonderful! How does my time dining work? Do you have two options to eat? Do you have to make a reservation? There are 6 in our party. I definitely want to view going under the bridge. It looks like they two times for any shows.
Also, how is the live music on the ship?
With my time dining you can either just show up and be seated when a table is available, or call and make a reservation.
Most shows did have an early and later showing. The comedy show early show was family friendly and the late was adult rated.
Live music was pretty good for the most part, the headline acts were great.

Kelbel, I don't think the solarium roof on Brilliance is retractable. It is a beautiful peaceful place though. And the Park cafe in there is a great place for a quick bite.

Enjoy! I agree that Tampa boarding is fast and hassle free. Hopefully you get some awesome pics going under the skyway bridge. Just in front of the sky bar was a great place to view it from.

If you're not flying out the same day as your return, definitely check out Cajun Cafe on the Bayou over in Pinellas Park. Awesome food and bread pudding that is life changing!

I sailed on Brilliance Dec15-20. Beautiful, cozy, with a crew of super stars. Take your time to explore. There's a lot to see even though she's a mid sized ship. Say howdy to Remus at the pool bar for me!

Cafe Late'tudes deck 5 Centrum. Tended to be very busy. Not sure what time it opens, but closes about 10.

Just got off Brilliance. They do have a thermal spa. I didn't partake, but toured her and found she has lots of nice amenities. There were lots of kids, but on a T/A, pretty sure that won't be the case. She's a beautiful ship.

Greeting all, DW and I are booked for Conquest 27 April. Booked cabin 7202. Third cruise but first on Carnival. Helpful tips? Anyone been in this cabin before? Reviews of the food, entertainment, etc?

My wife didn't particularly like the regular coffee on Empress, but really enjoyed the cappuccino from the coffee bar. It's just forward/connected to Boleros. The aft facing deck just behind Boleros was a peaceful spot to sit and enjoy the coffee while watching the wake.

Quickly checked Google. There's several companies offering shuttle services from the villages to all the cruise ports.
-
There is a shuttle. Not sure about cost. I have a coworker who's a village's resident, I can ask him if you'd like.

I cruised in cabin 4124. No noticeable noise issues from above or below. Some hallway commotion from time to time, but nothing dramatic.

Thanks for the input guys. (Even the sarcasm)😋 Explained all this to her today, she said she'll probably go through a TA to get it done.
