Have yet to receive anything for June 19, 2020. Fingers crossed!

I keep checking, no additions yet for my June Ovation sailing.

I've seen on the Facebook group rumblings that various Ovation May/September sailings have gotten the email for Glacier Bay. Hoping my June Ovation sailing switches!

This was an AMAZING thread! I've enjoyed it so much! Can't wait to see if other people in coming cruises add on to the experience. Loved it all!

This thread is everything!! Hoopster, question for you! Did they charge you a fee to go up in the North Star on glacier day? I've heard rubblings of that about social media and wanted to get your take. Beautiful photos!

I'm so excited for this review!!

Went on Harmony and I feel like the show was at least an hour and a half. Can't remember if there was an intermission or not. Great show!!!

We went on it on Jewel two years ago and it was out of this world. The tour took us all over and we got to ask tons of questions. The spread was incredible and done buffet style. The food was endless and the chefs were so awesome. Did the same galley tour on Harmony in January and it was a disappointment. The tour was pretty lame overall. We took one little spin around the galley and they hardly answered a single question. The brunch was so sad compared to Jewel's spread. It was a little menu printed with two choices per category. The couple next to us had been on multiple galley brunches too and also agreed that Harmony's was a bit lackluster. I think it truly depends on the ship and who is running the tour. We had complete opposite experiences on both ships. If you've never done one before, absolutely go!!

I'm super hoping for a 2020 itinerary change. I'm on Ovation June 2020. Glad for the update on 2019 though! I'm excited to see if there are changes because I've been to Glacier Bay before on Princess and it is gorgeous! I'd love for my husband to be able to see it when we go.

Hi all!
I was reading Royal Caribbean Blog the other day and a post came up about Glacier Bay. It was announced that RCI has been given permission in the 2019-2029 Alaska seasons that ships will be allowed into Glacier Bay. My question is, do we think they will alter current itineraries to travel to Glacier Bay instead of what current sailings are doing? I'm interested to see anyone's speculations on the topic!

Jamie's was fabulous! Went to Chops on NYE this past year and while good, we've had better. However, I'd give them the benefit of the doubt that NYE is crazy busy. Can't go wrong with either!

We went on that itinterary for our honeymoon two years ago on Jewel and it was fantastic! It was super low key because there wasn’t a ton of people and it was calm and quiet. If you’re in it for the big ship factor, go for Allure. However, loved loved loved Jewel!

I have been eyeing this excursion up on RC for days. I think it looks incredible

Was it me or did the macaroni and cheese have zero taste? I was so amped to eat it and then... giant letdown! Ugh, I love Mac and cheese lol

They have the BBQ lunch and I was not the biggest fan. Lots of flies and everything was chaos. We were also on a NYE cruise so it was packed. Everything was also kind of lukewarm which was questionable. Some stuff was fine though

They were free on deluxe on Harmony two weeks ago!
Pros & Cons of a Boardwalk Balcony on Oasis
in Royal Caribbean International

Honestly I would not book a Boardwalk again. We were on one in December on Harmony and we could not stand the noise. We're not old by any means, we're in our 30's so noise isn't normally an issue. The thing that was a lot was that the carousel was obnoxious. There were also lights going all the time. I didn't mind having the movies and Aqua Theater, not a problem at all. It was the carousel and just standard boardwalk music that was too much. The room itself was great, I just wouldn't book the location again. Sorry to be the Debbie Downer!
