  1. InIcayman the stores will have a take with you and a send it to the ship price. There is a cigar shop to the left as you face the shore from the ship that has good prices. Alot of people don't pay tax but if customs ask if you are carrying and you tell them no, hope you don't get the luck of being searched. They don't usually but the fines are heavy if caught. Which port? In Houston we have specs liquor, they have everything and are pretty cheap.

  2. Penne marisco, cheesecake from seaday brunch, chocolate peanut butter pie from lido.

My go to special order dinner is a large ceasar salad with a flat iron steak on top.

They make an apple dessert that is delicious, found on the lido. It's some kind of sliced apples with cinnamon, and a crumble on top. More like a cobbler than cake or pie.

  3. I doubt the op is using scare tactics, rather sharing their experience. Once you get the run-around from carnival you will understand.

As far as being nonrefundable, carnival will tell you it is non-refundable upon cancellation. They don't have an issue telling you that. What they have an issue with is refunding by means of a carnival gift card. Sometimes you get it quickly, other times you may not get it it all. I have received them quickly, and I have not received others, regardless of the amount of calls and emails that I have sent. We are all free to decide to use them or not.to me, any benefit is not worth the risk. When it happens once to you, you will understand.

  4. You didn't mention which port so maybe, maybe not.

The cards will be there after 130, but since you have fttf they will be when you board. If you are sailing out of a port that still gives them to you in the terminal then disregard. Have a great cruise

  5. It is ok to take pictures in the terminal, except at the bag screening area and in customs area upon return.

It is not ok to video, that is prohinited.

There are signs up that say no photography, however that is no longer enforced per carnival. (except what i said above) a security person may ask you not to take pictures, but they are generally where it isn't allowed anyway. If a carnival employee ask you not to take a picture, ask them why not and may you speak to their supervisor (a blue shirt)

  6. I have has similiar issues in obtaining refunds with cancelled shore excursions paid with gift cards. I am happy that some of you receive your refund as promised, but there are many of us, through NO fault of our own, do not get the promised refund.

I am not saying this will happen to you, but beware of the possibility that it can!
