As a standard booking, Sky Suites come with the Premium. drinks package included along with streaming Wi-FI, tips and OBC. There are exceptions, so it's best to check if you booked through Blue Chip or fare-only. You also don' get upgraded from the original perks if you got the suite through a Move-Up offer.

I'm booked for December in a Sky Suite and the price only included the Classic Package which I upgraded. Maybe because it's a holiday sailing?

We were on the Apex in March.   It was either the last day or the day before they had a chocolate fountain in the buffet.   It reminded me of Hersey Chocolate Syrup.  Ther  were also many other chocolate deserts.  For what my opinion is worth everything looked better than it tasted and for me that includes  most of the deserts and pastries on Celebrity

The Chocolate Chip Cookies and Brownies in Eden Cafe are fantastic.  The Flaming Apple or whatever it is called in Luminae is also Chocolate on Steroids.  You may find a few places where the chocolate is awesome

    Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅😣

I have never seen or heard of this dessert in Luminae and it's not listed on the menu for either of my upcoming cruises. Nor was it on Edge in March. Thanks for the video, btw.

  3. I've dined in Luminae on several cruises. They like to keep you with your "unofficially assigned" staff. I usually go the same time every night and it's never been an issue. One day I went to breakfast a little later than usual and my normal section was full so they sat me in a different section but my usual waitress attended to me, which I felt guilty about because it was so much extra work for her.

  4. I am so sick of having to chase after the points to be applied that I'm dropping this card after 20 years. It's just no longer worth the hassle.  I got a new card that gives me a 2% cash discount on all purchases instead.

  5. Equinox is my favorite ship - I've been on her several times. Was on her last Tday in a suite and enjoyed the Retreat deck even tho there was no pool or bar. The staff were amazing with getting drinks and were always around.

I'm sailing Reflection this Tday and am hoping the rumor of the new Retreat deck is true. Also doing Silhouette for Xmas. I did Edge in March and loved it but I still prefer the S class ships.

  6. I love sailing suites because of the special service, especially when I travel alone. I enjoy having the same waitstaff every time instead of being lost in the shuffle in the MDR. Dinner in Blu in Aqua for same reason.

The Retreat lounge is nice when you want to grab a snack and avoid the craziness of the buffet and the Retreat deck is pure heaven on a crowded sea day.

I'm skeptical that they'll do anything major to Reflection this year.  Under the original revolution program, it was slated to be the last ship, and that wasn't going to be until 2023.  The pandemic upended all of that, of course, but it was always going to be the last ship to get updates.

Nothing major, no. But it doesn't take much to add a gate to that deck and then swap out the furniture for a Retreat area.

If you’re ever on a cruise with Alejandro as the cruise director ask him about the time he was CD on a cruise where clothing was not optional.

The Reflection is doing a "Bliss Cruise" on November 13th. It's a swingers cruise with clothing optional areas. I'm boarding the 20th. I don't even wanna know.

  9. I think the fact that Carnival puts a limit on your drinks tells you all you need to know about some of their guests.

I can easily do 15 drinks a day when you count water, tea, soda, etc so I would not be thrilled with having it capped. Non alcoholic beverages shouldn't be included but that's one of the many reasons I don't sail Carnival.

Regarding the Reflection, the following is what I received in April when I questioned what might be accomplished in their (2-wk) drydock this coming fall:

We are doing the dry dock on the 18th of October. The plan is to get a retreat sundeck and do a few changes around the ship.
However i am not sure if they are going to do any Suite renovations.

So glad to hear this! (where is this info coming from btw?)

I'm doing Reflection over T day. I had originally booked aqua class then upgraded to a SS when they were having a sale. I was bummed about not having a retreat deck but hearing this is awesome!
