I know you're anxious to make reservations for next Oct, but the reality is that you're really too early to get a good deal. What is your hotel budget range w/o tax? Do you have any sightseeing objectives in Boston? Are you flying or driving?
For right now I would suggest the following strategy:
1). If you're nervous about having any kind of reservation, make a cancellable reservation now.
2). Monitor Hotwire and lastminutetravel.com over the next months. If you see a blind hotel on Hotwire in the Seaport District at a price you can live with, book it. All the hotels in the Seaport District are 3* and up. They are all relatively new and totally acceptable (unlike hotels in other areas of Boston). Feel free to post back if you see something that looks good.
3). If you're driving and don't have sightseeing objectives, post back as other strategies apply.
There's no guarantee a deal will pop up, but a number of folks were able to find Hotwire deals this year in Sep and Oct.
That's great advice thank you!
We are flying in from Northern British Columbia and have never been to the East Coast so we are excited and a bit nervous. I will take your advice and wait to book... you gave a lot of great tips, thanks!

Weston Waterfront, Seaport Hotel, Element Hotel, Aloft, Renissance Waterfront. All very nice hotels, but be aware you will be paying pretty high cost to be in Boston near the seaport. Nothing "reasonable" that close but nice for a one night splurge befor your trip.
Thank you for the help!

I personally love my time dining as I do cruises with just two of us. So doing this guarantees that we will have a table to ourselves and not have to sit with other people.
Also you aren’t restricted to a certain time to eat and can change your reservations to whichever time you want. Or you can also not make reservations and just wait in the no reservation line but it might take a while.
Thank you for the info!!

How are you finding the My Time Dining? I will be trying it for the first time soon and am not sure what to expect. Any advice is helpful
Also I love the pictures!

Any suggestions for a hotel close to the Boston port? What is a general price range in October?

I don't think you'll convince our youth pastor who never had issues until the time he skipped taking the probiotics - he never forgets anymore 😉
This is pretty smart! When on mission trips or cruises I will bring oregano oil and that helps so much too!

I have tried balcony, inside and ocean view cabins and liked them all. I usually go for the inside because of cost but I like that they are dark and cozy. Balcony is nice to have the private outside space but cost is usually double of an inside cabin.

Has anyone done the Jolly Roger Excursion through Royal Caribbean or any other ship? Thoughts? Share your experience!

I am going to Aruba for the first time and thought I would ask you experts where I could find a lovely beach? I've heard about Baby Beach and Eagle Beach.... any other beaches you would recommend? Or any other tips? Thanks!

I have cruised the caribbean in Sept, Oct and Nov about 7 times and have never encountered a storm or had bad weather. If there us something brewing you will most likely not see it as the ship will re-route

Hello,
Just curious to know if the Solarium roof opens on Serenade of the Seas?

Just out of curiosity, if I were to book a cruise 2 years in advance, when would my final payment be due?
