Don’t know if this has already been asked. But, are they scanning suitcases for alcohol. I usually take a bottle in my suitcase. Have done forever, never any mishaps
Due to fly/cruise to Barbados 18th November. Broke my wrist last night, not spoken to PandO yet, anybody any experience of this and would I still be able to travel?
We fly to Barbados on 18th November, as yet not received flight confirmation/details. Can’t book airport car parking or overnight stay until we know times. Travel agent not much help. Any suggestions?
On a recent cruise, November 2022, a passenger was in reception wanting to know how much compensation P and O were going to give her because she had missed the ‘free lunch’ (or more likely, the free booze). She had missed the lunch due to arriving late and was not happy.
It’s not about ‘standing up for the captain’ (where did that come from), or violating anything. It’s standards, PandO set a standard, this is what we expect you to do in these areas. If you don’t want to do it, fine, but don’t knock the ones that do. Or P and O should do away with any guidelines, and just do as you want.
No such thing as ‘dress code’ anymore. Recent cruise people into MDR with jeans on. Formal nights people allowed into Crows nest in sports shirts and chinos. In the past they wouldn’t have been allowed in.
