Hi, we are going on our first cruise next year with Royal Caribbean, leaving Sydney to Pacific islands. My partner takes CBD oil for chronic pain management, however we have read they have VERY strict rules around CBD products of ANY kind. This is a massive issue as pain doesn’t take a holiday and will absolutely ruin our trip without the relief the CBD oil offers. Has anyone travelled on a cruise in a similar situation and has advice that will help? Will a script from a G.P be suffice? The over the counter medications traditionally used have caused stomach issues so avoiding them is a priority.
Thanks in advance.Welcome to CC, bad luck your CBD oil is not permitted.

Not watering down the potential impact of Cyclone Jasper, but my eldest grand daughter the vet, who did uni JCU at Townsville for 5 years on site and worked there as a mobile vet for 2.5 years, told me me the locals up there are quite complacent re cyclone warnings, she went through half a dozen warnings.
She is now working in Armidale NSW, in her own mobile vet business. I hope this complacency does not impact on the locals in FNQ. Batten down the hatches

It was the Americans that sued tripping over the tub chairs. So Princess removed them, what a joke.

Right now, we’ve had no power for over an hour.. Massive storm moved through rapidly from the west, heading towards Les now. Most of Canberra in blackout, although our daughter’s home in Woden Valley unaffected. Romantic candlelit evening. Just finished dinner with a glass of chilled sav blanc when we were enveloped in blackness. Always have candles at the ready, so quite relaxing, really🥰
Good weather for a well chilled sauv blanc Linda.

Power just restored 20 mins. ago, (it's 9.00am now) so we were without power all night. Emergency teams have done a fantastic job; there were thousands of homes without power apparently. Our son is at the coast and he said the light show down there was amazing, but they didn't lose power, so Les should also be fine.
All ok down here, certainly a massive lightning , thunder and rain show. Cooling down a littlle now, down to a balmy 29c, was 33 earlier. Mr Walker and co woul be copping it at Penriff, 42 forecast. Stay cool.

Princess removed the tub chairs a few years ago, someone tripped over one and sued the cruiseline, so the story goes. The Tub Chair topic went on for years on the Princess site of CC.

I would suggest that anybody who still suffers from the Covid Paranoia virus should not even consider going on a cruise - or to their local shopping centre. Stay at home!
Agree and get your groceries and booze delivered on line from Coles and Woolies. I still get my groceries on line but not paranoid.
