This is good news. We’ll be on the Jade one week from today in a balcony room. Can anyone tell me if they also supply real creamers? Or is it just the powdered stuff? Thanks!
We were given liquid non-dairy creamers.

We did a tour with St Kitts Food Tours and it was fantastic!

If you log into your NCL profile you can view the charges specific to your cruise. Our cruise is 14 day as well and the spa charge was $299 booked online. I am on the fence about buying it. I want it but not sure I will use it enough since my hubby will not be doing it. It will be just me. The spa is at the other end of the ship from our near aft cabin so I am wondering if I will be up for the long walk evey day. LOL
Mine is not showing a price.
Yet.

Thank you!

I can't do a search. DD is asking me how much this is for a 2 week cruise.
Silly me. I always get a pass for the cruise. Can't remember how much they are.

Can someone please provide a link to the NCL luggage policy? My wife and I are each checking in a suitcase, and then a carry on for each. What I'm mainly wondering is if it's the same as airlines for the liquid bottle policy. Do we need to have our shampoos, conditioners, and other liquids in the travel-size bottles? Do we have to put the full size bottles into the checked in luggage (like airports)? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
The only liquids you need to worry about are alcoholic beverages. Only wine is allowed and you have to carry it on.

What type of coffee maker, single cup or 4 cup maker?
4 cup

Which OTA or website?
It's against Cruise Critic rules to post travel agencies.

Thank you for your responses. Is there only one Chef's Table per cruise?
They sometimes will open a 2nd one if there is enough interest.

Hi. Is there a difference between ship time vs. local time in Puerto Limon. I am arriving on April 10th on NCL Pearl. A tour operator mentioned to me there may be. Thanks.
I believe it is usually up to the captain. We never know until we're sailing if we're going onto the local time(s).

The only way to get last minute upgrades is to book directly with cruise line. On our last cruise we were upgraded from balcony to suite for $500 two days before the cruise. Again a TA does not get these last minute deals because as said the cruise line will not talk with you if you use a TA.

This is not true. Maybe depends on the TA? We usually use one and have gotten calls for upgrades.........

we arrive at San Jose airport two days pre-cruise (leaving from Caldera) What area is best for the two nights before the cruise? Should we stay near airport, in San Jose itself, or further towards the coast? We'd like to take a day trip on our second day and perhaps another shorter trip the morning of our cruise (which departs at 5 pm) So also looking for tour operators and transportation from airport and to cruise port.
Thanks!
If it were me, I'd stay in or near Puerto Caldera. Because, we've experienced 2 bus accidents, and a broken down bus while in Costa Rica. I personally wouldn't be comfortable with the travel time from San Jose to Caldera on the day of the cruise.
There are tour companies that will take you on tours from the coast.

Balcony cabins and above have a coffee maker in the cabin.
There is no set dining time in any dining room.

I have to disagree.
With a little research (e.g., travel ombudsman and syndicated columnist Christopher Elliott), you can find the direct contact info for senior executives of most travel related companies.
I've used this info on several occasions when my concerns were reasonable and shared by many other passengers. A carefully considered e-mail that summarizes the issue(s) and offers concrete evidence and efficacious solutions will, more often than not, be answered in short order. For example:
Last year, one of the premium cruise lines had decided to permit e-cigarettes onboard (despite having one of the most restrictive tobacco use policies in the cruise industry). It was a topic of much conversation here on CC and a few of us used whatever connections we had to voice our opposition to that line's officials.
From my end, I collected some data used to justify the latest e-cig restrictions here in California and, armed with the cruise line president's personal e-mail address (thanks Christopher Elliott), I sent him the materials along with a short note on a Sunday morning. Within one hour (!!!), I received a response from him with thanks for the info and a promise that, by the next morning, the e-cig policy would be amended so that the e-cigs would be treated like other tobacco products (I.e., limited to one smoking room in an enclosed bar area and one pool area corner only).

You can disagree all you want. I only report on my experience.

las caletas in PV, boat trip around lands end/arches in cabo. Loved stone island and walking around the market/cathedral to get a glimpse of the real mazatlan.
I agree with all 3 of these.

We stayed here: http://www.lyntonhotel.co.uk/
It's in Belgravia. Wasn't sure what to expect. We knew it was budget lodging. We were pleasantly surprised. There is no lift so you do have to carry your luggage up. They cook up a nice breakfast.
Bathrooms are smaller than cruise ship bathrooms.....

I'm not sure if you can email any cruise line with your questions and get an answer...
All the cruise lines are more alike than different.
IMHO Princess has some very bad customer service both on and off the ships.

I have long wondered why NCL and others ask for state of residence.before quoting prices.
Has anyone ever actually got a discount based on where they live?
Are they trying to limit the number of pax from a particular state?
Maybe they want to place them in a particular area of the ship so as not to upset others
We did once that I'm aware of. This was on Carnival.

We didn't have to have one.

Sorry for your loss.
It was in 2010 when we did this but they told us that we had to have a biodegradable urn. It was dropped from an opening on a crew deck below. Officers attended and were very respectful.

Wow. The Keurigs did not last very long at all.
That's too bad. Love having the coffee makers on NCL. Get to have my coffee without having to talk to anyone, or see anyone. :D
Oh well.

Truthfully, Suite perks on Carnival suck. Don't book a suite for the non existent perks, book it for the room ( the GS is pretty darn nice)
If you want REAL suite perks try another line.., and surprisingly some of them will be cheaper than Carnival when you add in the comps.

I do book suites on other lines. So far they've been fantastic. This only thing I can say about Carnival suites is "nice room".
