I've got code NATOBC2 on one of my booking and per my add-ons listing it appears to be $100 obc per passenger. Can anyone confirm this? If so, please add it to code listing. Thanks.

Normally NCL wifi upgrade are only available for the first guest's internet minutes (i.e. - when upgrading only 1 name is listed in upgrade add to cart window). I think the system is smart enough to know that individual can only have 1 upgrade package since the first name on the add to cart list already has check by their name and second name has unavailable by their name (I just looked at one of our cruises to confirm this for wifi upgrade offer). The system would not let you buy the same excursion twice, likewise I don't think it would let you buy the same wifi upgrade package twice. So it didn't charge you for the second wifi upgrade package.
Once onboard the internet manager can use your minutes and apply them to a 2-device package (or some combination to allow 2 devices), it'll cost more, but you get 2 devices at the same time. I've done this before. Also, some ships already offer 2-device wifi upgrade packages.

@casofilia @scootersdad Has another port been cancelled and my TA is behind again?

Either way, somehow NCL has 'predicted' some form of increased risk which would cause them to cancel an entire month next year in 2023 (per NCL website) based upon their "risk crystal ball". NCL stated:
"Due to the situation between Russia and Ukraine...." and "The safety and security of our guests, crew and the communities we visit is always our top priority."
So somehow NCL is foreseeing increased risk for only a few NCL Dawn cruises in July of 2023.
Seems there's much more to this than NCL is sharing.

If it only for dry dock or maintenance from July 2, 2023 to July 28, 2023, is NCL Dawn broken now and not 100%? Seem really strange to blame potential Baltic conflicts for required maintenance.
Something isn't right, routine maintenance or dry docks are expected and don't need some fake excuse to pull a ship out of service. Is this some method to avoid refunding fares or avoiding insurance claims?
https://www.ttgmedia.com/news/ncl-and-hal-cancel-sailings-due-to-ukraine-crisis-34257 stated:
'Meanwhile, NCL said Dawn’s and Getaway’s voyages have been cancelled due to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. A spokesperson for the line said: "The safety and security of our guests, crew and the communities we visit is always our top priority.'

Searching roll calls, I found this piece of an email from NCL received by another Cruise Critic member:
As part of our commitment to delivering extraordinary vacation experiences around the world, and due to the escalated situation between Russia and Ukraine, we've made the difficult decision to cancel Norwegian Dawn sailings from July 2 through and including July 28, 2023. We share your disappointment and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, but also hope you can understand the necessity of this action.

It's been stated that NCL (and other NCLH cruise lines) have cancelled Baltic cruise thru 2023. Anyone seen an actual NCL letter or statement?

Viking Sea just announced masks are optional staring April 1. Hope your ship does this also, especially since CDC just dropped cruise ship covid requirements.

Will Ship's Captain be allowing passengers on your cruise to go maskless starting April 1?
I ask since your cruise started well before April 1 and Viking's recent letter only addressed removing mask requirement on cruises which start on or after April 1. It would be a shame to be masked for the remainder of your cruise due to a technical requirement. -

Just read where Traveler's offers annual travel insurance with ability to add optional coverage for trips. Any experience with these Traveler's annual plans. Appears that basic annual plan is only medical and each trip must be added individually for trip cancellation/etc.

Thanks for your answer.
I've never understood why you can't purchase additional trip cancellation coverage (like for a world cruise) if needed when you already have the other coverages in an annual travel insurance plan. That's a gap.
Can you explain why additional coverage isn't available, especially for those of us with annual travel insurance.

Hi prunderw,
Which plan do you have? Or, are you asking if you may buy another trip cancellation plan to supplement your annual plan?
Steve Dasseos
We have an annual travel insurance, but possibly need additional trip cancellation coverage. Why pay for what we already have covered under annual travel insurance (duplicate coverage)? Where can we add just additional trip cancellation coverage?

Captain just reported positive covid case, 12 days without any covid cases. Close contacts and positive case has been isolated. No impact currently on tomorrow's port call in Nuku Hiva.
Great open and transparent communication from our Captain and Viking.

We have an annual travel plan that covers all the necessary medical coverage and limited trip cancellation coverage. How do we add supplemental trip cancellation coverage for a cruise which exceeds our annual travel plan without paying for duplicate medical coverage? Why pay twice?

Viking excels again..... We're delaying Bora Bora for a day due to bad weather forecast and adding an extra overnight in Tahiti. Way to go...... 🙂😇🤩🥰

Wow, just announced during Port talk that we're 100% covid free, all negative from daily testing. Allowing independent exploration for remainder of cruise.

First report from Captain of covid cases at noon. Hope everything goes well for those with only short onboard quarantine and no one else impacted.

It appears that 25 or so did not make our LA embarkation (1 in 20 original passengers) due to covid issues.
Has anyone heard any on board covid positives/contacts?
With Marquesas rapidly approaching, hoping the best with no port denials. Especially since Viking World Cruise just turned around and dropped all French Polynesia ports (plus many other ports).

Does this apply to a specific port or the whole cruise. Thanks.
As per the Viking letter at check in, the whole cruise. You can ask Guest Services any specific question.

Knock on door, thought it was my drink, but we've cleared to walk around (got results back - nothing on TV yet). Hope everyone else gets theirs soon. See you around the ship...... 🙂

Daily says we have a Guest Emergency Drill at 5:30 pm, hope tests are done by then.
No results yet, nor any notes in TV. Wonder what a note on the TV will look like. At least I hope we get it on the TV and not a knock on the door or a call on the phone - pack your stuff ( oh s@#t).

Got room keys and Viking took our passports (as expected). On to our room until first test is cleared from note on tv.

On of my booking has code FITOBC but obc is $150 not $50 as per code listing. Maybe FITOBC has been adjusted or is variable and not fixed at $50. Could someone confirm this and update list as necessary? Thanks.
