Thanks, our time says 12 noon but we want to get there earlier, probobly arrive around 10am

I sailed on the Fantasy back in 1992 as a kid with my family. Was my first cruise and since then i have been hooked. Even worked on Ships for 5 years. I am 40 now and still cruise at least once a year. As i do prefer the larger ships, i was on the Inspiration about 6 years ago and still found it enjoyable.

Thanks for the info...I am booked in a suite and do have Priority on my documents. So does this mean i can show up early?

So i am sailing on the Glory this month and have an ocean suite. I do not see any differance in the size of the cabin just know the locations are differant. On Glory (Same as Liberty) the Ocean Suites are on deck 7 so you have only cabins above and below you, where the Junior Suites are on deck 9. You do get all the same perks as an ocean suite like priority embarkation etc

I am cruising on the Glory on the 26th, I am simply bring straws with me.

You will be getting off when I board February 2, in 20 days! 😎
Awsome. 1st time splurging on a suite so hope i enjoy it along with some of the perks

So will be sailing on the Glory out of New Orleans on the 26th and we have an Ocean Suite. Does New Orleans have a Captains lounge for embarkation? Also we have a 12:00 Noon arrival time, will we be able to get into the terminal earlier. Its my 18 year old Stepsons 1st cruise and pretty sure he is going to be going nuts to get there lol

Some things you purcahse dont show up in your planner. Just print out a copy of your receipt and bring it with you just in case. I pre-purchased Cheers but had to do so over the phone due to web site issues and the rep told me they will not show up in my planner.

Was there 2 years ago, inflatables are a bit overrated for us 40 and 37 lol. But i will say get there early and you can get great beach chairs and the Jet SKi Rentals are very reasonable.

13 days till Glory out of New Orleans

Everything i read on reviews is no affect on dining. I am on the glory on the 26th of this month so will let you know when i get back

Was on the Dream 2 years ago during championship weekend. Games were shown on the Lido Deck on the pool TV as well as almost every tv and every bar. Don't worry you wont miss it

So i live about 5.5 hours from new orleans, so it isnt bad. Go down the day before. But honestly i would drive up to about 10 hours (as long as its just the wife and I with no kids lol)

Well, this has turned into a lot of discusions and interesting questions. Well I cruise on the 26th of this month and will update everyone on how it goes. So I will either set up a $200 cash onboard account or do $200 in cruise cash.
-
I read on carnival that its $200?
-
Just read it, so i am thinking i will just set it up with cruise cash before I sail, so when i get to the terminal i already have $200 on the account. Will simply add cash as i go.
-
Never done that does the agent at check in give you any crap for it lol
-
So best bet is simply put say $200 cruise cash on account before boarding and refill as needed?
-
I have always used CC for sail and sign account, but this cruise i have alread paid for everything from Cheers, excursions, gratuities wifi soda package for 18 year old step son etc. So this time around i am going to prepurcahse cruise cash for the onboard account. Since i have already purchased everything i figure a couple hundred bucks should be fine.
Also when i get to the terminal will the make me put cash down if i already have cruise cash loaded
-
I think i will just do cash this time around. Honestly, bringing my oldest step son so maybe cash is the way to go lol...put
$200 down so he cant go over. Again already prepaid gratuities, purchased cheers, purchased soda package, purchased wifi for stepson, and excursions are already paid for as well. Thinking $200 will be a good start and if need be will add more lol

Wow, well i always use a credit card but am now thinking just put a couple hundred bucks on the account
-
Thanks so looks like CC hold is only $200 per cabin. Thats fine with me lol, odds are i wont even hit that lol. Always try to pay off everything prior so i pretty much dont even have a charge for sial and sign during cruise
-
I understand, using a credit card just curiouse what the hold is? I have already paid off everything, also pucrchased Cheers, prepaid the gratuities. Was just cuirouse what the hold is for a 7 day cruise

Do excursions that are canceled get refunded to the form of payment or does it go on your onboard account as a credit?
