 I made that comment in response to the comment about no "up charges in the Retreat."  I consider Luminae a part of the Retreat experience which is why I was questioning the response from the Celebrity executive. 
 

 

My sister in law just was told that Decoy is an up charge in the retreat lounge.so much for no up charges here…

Boarding the Beyond in a sky suite tomorrow…the email I received today says the retreat includes “ your own butler” why do they send emails like this .it just adds insult to injury…we booked this cruise over 2 years ago when the Beyond sailings were just announced for my husband’s big birthday…was looking forward to having a butler help with some decorating like they have done in the past…I am disappointed with the change but to have that email sent just makes me more annoyed 😠…

we will have a great cruise but it is just the lack of attention to detail that bothers me..

Have a great trip…we are booked on this cruise in 2025…not sure if we are going to sail due to my husband’s work but I hope we can…

I too was looking at Virgin too as an alternative…good thing I booked it a week ago because they have just raised their prices astronomically….

I booked a Seriously Suite(lowest suite) for a 5 night cruise in December of next year for $3600 …today it is $5600…and it looks like lower categories have gone up tremendously as well…

So glad I booked my first Virgin cruise for next December cruise a little over a week ago…I can’t believe the price hike…we booked a seriously suite and it has gone up thousands of dollars…this is exactly 

what happened with Celebrity specifically suites ..and was hoping Virgin would be a good alternative after our deposits and decent prices from Celebrity had run out since we booked them years ago…

i got the email for my Deep Blue extras, however I don’t see anything in the Ap. How long does it usually take to appear there…also my $300 bar tab from the booking promo is not in my ap either.🤷‍♀️

I believe with move up bids you keep whatever perks you had…you don’t get drinks and WiFi just because you are in a sky suite…you will get drinks in the Retreat lounge included…without a drink package I think…

I just booked my first Virgin Cruise…very excited but it isn’t until December…I applied for a status match since we are elite on Celebrity…do they contact you in any way to say you have been approved for the deep blue extras..is it noted in your app anywhere…don’t want to miss out on the perks…

Thanks for your review…we are heading on the Beyond on 1/2 for my husband’s big birthday..we are staying in a sky suite…and it’s nice to hear positive things…we have sailed on the Edge and Apex in sky suites and have enjoyed it…

it was Zach’s the traveling man YouTube channel…he is on board now…

I didn’t realize that used to have them…I would be happy if they brought them back …since I don’t think we will be sailing too much in the Retreat after our Beyond cruise on 1/2/24…they have priced us out and I no longer see the value…so no more afternoon tea…so sandwiches included in Cafe Al Bacio would be nice…

I was just watching a YouTube video of the Ascent…looks like there were sandwiches at Cafe al Bacio…is this new? that would be a nice addition..I have never noticed them on other ships…hoping it is fleet wide..we always feel that at times we could use a savory snack as opposed to sweet…and especially since they added the room service charge it is more of an issue..

In terms of entertainment…on the Edge class ships there are shows in Eden and the club…these are not big venues and can get crowded very early…we have unfortunately seen people almost come to blows when someone moved a seat and blocked their view from a couch he was sitting on for a show in Eden 🤦‍♀️

All the cruises I had been looking at has gone up for their “Black Friday sales” ….also the new deployment prices in Europe are a bit more than I am comfortable with right now..contemplating our options…

may jump ship to Princess our do a river cruise…if there were “good sales” for Black Friday I would have probably made a deposit…

It looks like another Royal program they are instituting on Celebrity 🤷‍♀️

I was just looking at my cruise planner for my 7/2/24 cruise on the Equinox and noticed an unlimited special dining package. I had never seen this before. Is this new? Or have I just never noticed it…

Has anyone been able to find out in terms of priority…will the retreat board and tender first…before those who purchased the Express pass?

Just curious how repricing works? Do they lower the price or is the difference given to you in OBC?

Do you have to cancel and rebook or is it the same reservation number? If that is the case I guess you would be hit with cancellation fees….

I have to use chrome to get to log in to my account on the website…if I use safari I get errors…

We booked the same…it’s my husband’s birthday on the 4th so we decided to book it…not excited about the itinerary but figured why not…
