Not odd one bit in my opinion. As I commented here, when working I tried to remember what anyone in my office had worn the day before and I couldn't.  Lesson learned. Plus like you, if I've been out doing something I change into "lounge wear" when I get home. The pants and sweater (winter) are usually draped over my dressing table chair. I can't say for absolute sure but I think I've worn the same things at least the last three days and probably four. Why on earth not?

Hah! That's probably it.  I put my outfit on a chair next to my bed and so why not put it back on?! 😅

  2. When I cruise I plan my wardrobe with expanding size being a factor.  First day, slim fitting dress or skirt.  Second day, slim fitting pants with cute top. Third day, slightly more forgiving dress.....Last day, muu-muu. 😋 That way I'm still happy in cute clothes and staying comfortable. I know I'm going to eat and drink on vacation and taking the stairs on the cruise ship can only do so much.

I have never seen a "cruise clothes" department in a store, even when I lived in Southern California.  Kind of like I have never seen a rack of dresses labeled "sundresses", so I never know what someone is referring to when mentioning a sundress purchase.

I found this.  It even mentions Lily Pulitzer🤣

  4. For the Blue Hole my family used Liberty Tours.  Ricardo followed up with me before the cruise, making sure we knew where to meet.  Michelle our driver took great care of us, driving the five of us up a very bumpy road to a beautiful falls area.  We were assigned a guide who helped us the entire time.  Afterward, Michelle drove us to Scotchie's for delicious jerk cooking.

Years ago, we used Phil Lafayette (I think) and he took us to Dunns River Falls.  After we had lunch at Scotchies.

Both excursions were awesome.  Have a great cruise!

  5. Awesome!! We surprised our DDs on our second cruise as a family.  A friend drove us to the port, our DDs still had no idea until we turned to them in the car and said "look at that cruise ship.  Want to go for a cruise on it?" They were sooo surprised😉.  Have a merry Christmas!!

TA is booking the next cruise today.  I will have plenty of time to plan my packing this time since it's 5/1/2021 on the not yet completed Enchanted Princess.  It will be a 7 night from Athens to Barcelona, with stops in Kotor, Santorini, Naples and Messina with a few days pre and post cruise in both Athens and Barcelona.  Very excited!!

Awesome!  We are cruising Sept 2020 starting in Venice and ending in Barcelona.  Getting in 3 days in Venice then 2 days in Barcelona after the cruise.  We will be porting in Kotor, Naples and Messina as well.  I'm trying to plan my wardrobe, accommodating the churches (no bare shoulders or knees) and the whole different vibe of an European cruise as opposed to a Caribbean cruises, which has been my only cruising experience.  These boards have given me a lot of insight!

Thanks so much......the last 4 days have been a PITA though:classic_sad:...the area is very sore and I even called the Dr

yesterday (yes on Saturday) they called me back and said what I am describing is normal......redness and such.

My post op appt to see the Dr is on Tuesday morning and hoping I will know more after that visit. I don't really

like to take pain meds but I needed to in this case (he had prescribed me some stuff to take as needed).

Please keep us posted on your Tues appt.  Did the dr suggest a bag of frozen peas on the red area? Just thinking if this was an injury, I would use that to reduce pain and inflammation. Keeping up the good thoughts and prayers for you!

  8. I love having an opportunity to dress up! I'm an exercise instructor and live in sweaty spandex 5 days a week. Here is a pic of me and DH on Elegant Night. For me it's just fun to glam it up. If someone else chooses not to, that's their choice and it doesn't make my Elegant Night less elegant.

  10. Make sure you drink half your body weight in ounces of water everyday.  If you weigh 160 pounds then you need to drink 80 ounces of water.  I like drinking my water out of a stainless steel container, like the brand Swell, but there are many like that out there. Stainless Steel makes water taste extra good so you'll drink more of it.  If you think your hungry, drink some water first.  You could be dehydrated. Working out is great for increasing lean muscle mass but to see the biggest difference in your body shape, you need to focus on what you eat and drink. Try to keep a food journal so you are aware of what you eat at the end of the day.  A really easy way to do this is to take pics of what  you are about to eat.  At the end of the day, swipe through your pics so you can be accountable.  You've got this!  Let us know how your progress is👍

  11. I wear something like this to the ship's gym.  Or up on the track to powerwalk.  Our cruises have been in the Caribbean so I don't like getting too overheated. Plus, spandex type wear tends to dry out quicker so I can wash it and wear it again in a day or so.  I hope you had a wonderful cruise!

I couldn't find one of us on our Celebrity Edge cruise but I this is what we wore on our Panama Canal cruise on Princess.  We are light packers and I dress for my job daily, so I do like to relax when on vacay....this was a cool dress though that I love, so cool that I bought one in paisley, a pattern I just dearly love....it just looks fun!  We've never not fit in and no one has ever given us glares.  I say dress in what you like....life's too short! =D
