Already have.  Princess has been fantastic in this very trying period.  Couldn't ask for a better response.

I printed, signed then fax'd it..  Fewer steps..  lol

We cancelled an April Wine Country cruise on March 6,  that we had used FCC's from a cancelled Japan cruise on.  Plus had to pay a little out of pocket.  We were in the 50% penalty window.

Immediately the FCC from the Japan cancelled cruise showed back on our account.  Our credit card was credited for 50% of what we had paid.  We're still waiting for the other 50% to show up as FCC and I'm not sure what's going to happen to our FCD's.

I thought I saw a thread awhile back that had some new process of transferring a booking from Princess to a TA.  The Search function hasn't been my friend..

If there's some official procedure could you guys please enlighten me.  Thanks.

Call your broker and see if you can buy some of CCL's bonds on the open market.

Just remember if a company has to reorganize the common shareholders are usually the first ones to get wiped out..

We might see a general market hold.  Futures just triggered the 5% down limit.  Tomorrow looks to be another bad day.

I'm sure they'll be looking to do a whole lot of debt restructuring over the upcoming weeks.   Hopefully they'll have a little money to buy oil futures.. 

With the latest State Department advisory I wouldn't get anywhere near the buy button on cruise stocks for awhile..

When they come back with positive test results from the Grand, Monday will be another blood bath.  I'm waiting for the teens before I buy again.

Yes, We had our 4/2 Japan cruise cancelled. We booked EZAir and all our money was refunded.

Guest Disembarkation Complete + Team Member Quarantine

Princess Cruises can confirm that disembarkation of all guests aboard Diamond Princess is complete. Specialists from the Princess Care Team and Family Assistance programs remain available to both guests and team members.

Currently, there are fewer than 500 team members on board, with some awaiting government charter flights. For those team members who will not depart by government charter flights, we have finalized plans with the Japan Ministry of Health for a quarantine shoreside facility in Japan.

Princess Cruises has hired Aspen Medical, an award-winning and WHO-certified company with extensive global experience in delivering public health services, to provide team members with health and wellbeing care during a quarantine at a land-based center in Japan. The Australia-based company will deploy as many as 60 professionals including clinically certified doctors, nurses and environmental health officers along with operations personnel. Aspen Medical will provide services at the facility including daily health checks, laundry services, meal service, housekeeping service and assist with recreational activities.

This secondary quarantine is required by the Japan Ministry of Health, out of an abundance of caution, to ensure the health and well-being of each team member. Aspen Medical will be operating under the direction of the Japan Ministry of Health, which is ultimately responsible for the quarantine.

If this virus gets as bad as they're predicting, cruise companies will be filing for chapter 11..

I faxed the forms last night and the OBC was posted this morning around 9:00.. 

In some countries it's a requirement that you carry your actual passport.  If there is no requirement we carry a copy. 

Buying insurance is certainly a personal choice.  If we're cruising overseas it's a no brainer for us to insure the entire trip.

That being said... We have a California Coastal cruise coming up.  Are we insuring it?  Nope.  We're from the Seattle area. The cruise goes from L.A. to Vancouver.  The cruise was paid for from the Future Cruise Credit we received from our cancelled Japan cruise. I feel the risk of something happening is in the acceptable range for us.
