If you are on our cruise I would give up one of our Manifredes bookings so you could use it if possible.

My question while in the southern hemisphere Australia New Zealand does Viking offer wines of the area. Some lovely wines are created down here and it is an opportunity that Viking may be missing to promote wines from this area.

Well someone please find us another cruise line to travel on, if it is going this way.

After our experience in 2020 using a TA, due to the Viking cancellation of our cruise, 20 days out due to covid. The TA still charged us costs for the arranging of the booking which we were unable to undertake. We have now booked directly with Viking in Australia and depart in December. We received an onboard credit and the best advertised price. We also have had fantastic service, it may be different for others ins the Sates and elsewhere we are based in the Southern Hemisphere.

Thanks I have heard back from Viking, it looks as though they do not offer such great promos to New Zealand and Australian Residents and I was looking at a American Viking website, so when we apply the exchange rate it comes out about the same.

Thanks for this, I have emailed them it will be interesting to see what they come back with, I booked directly with Viking back in May 2022, and so far have had a great response with any query. It is 9.05am here in New Zealand and Viking in Austaralia is some 3 to 4 hour behind, wish me luck.

Thanks for shaing we have just checked the Ocean Cruise we will be on in around 80 days, and the cruise fare listed is comsiderable less than we paid some 4 months ago. Has this happened to anyone else. Later today I plan to contact Viking to question them.

Within 2 days we are about to book our excursions for our cruise in December around Australia and New Zealand, we were wondering the best time slot to choose for the included excursions. Would love to know the general consenus morning or afternoon.

We completely understand how you feel we were about to leave New Zealand for The Homeland cruise in early 2020 but obviously due to covid it was cancelled. So this time we are going to try and travel around New Zealand and Australia so much closer to home as we about an hour from wellington New Zealand.

Thank you so much for your reply, I had thought this may be the issue. We are New Zealanders so completely understand as we are always hearing how difficult it is to get staff on our media. Hi all, is anyone doing any of the Australia to Sydney cruises for December 2022 and have any more information on the excursions. We are cruising from December 22nd Auckland to Sydney and we notice as there are only a small number of excursions listed on our MVJ. We will be able to book our excursions from late September so the list may change hope fully. Also has any one booked independent excursions while on this cruise and have more information to share. Wow great comments thank you everyone, I like the idea of the quiet corridors and no pedestrian noise. The last cruise we did was a little noisy due to the traffic.

Please could someone advise, we are travelling in December 2022, and are curious about the choice of the cabin we made, well it was the last one left when we booked, and now I notice more cabins are available. The cabin we have been allocated is 7000, advice please should we look at possibly changing it if we can. Thanks
