Our cruise planner and check in on the 12th is still open and unchanged. TBD.
I sure it’s in a bit of a flux for them if there are supply issues for dry dock. However they should be transparent and give us as much of a heads up as possible. AND better options then a refund or Liberty.
I agree it was nice to get the double points, would be a shame to lose that. With such short notice, I can see getting other times off as being very difficult. I have a balcony booked, and if I took the Liberty, I would also expect a balcony.

Haven't been notified but our 11/8/2021 cruise on our planner shows it has been cancelled. Thought we were over this.
That is so sad....I am so sorry. Have they given you other options?

By one from Royal/optimum. It is a home teletest which you can perform at any place with good internet connections.
You will get result in App and in PDF sent to your email

It saved our cruise after 2(!) CVSs cancelled our appointments
How much in advance did you order the tests, and do they keep for a while? We are driving to Austin, and hope to secure appointments there, but if not, this would be a great option. If we do get appointments, how long before the kits expire?

Would travel insurance cover a missed flight? Just a thought, we always get travel insurance.

On (hopefully) the November 26th sailing. Thanks so much for the updates!

Greetings! Flew southwest out of Denver on Wednesday morning, check in line went fast, boarding went fast....all issues seem to have been taken care of....and it was Denver that made the news this weekend because of the issues. I don't think you need a back up plan, I think they got their stuff together.

I had to schedule one after the other. However, we both arrived together and got tested at the same time
That is such a worry for me. We are cruising in November, right after Thanksgiving. So testing should be done the Wednesday. We have 4 people and I just went on their site to see what kind of options there were. Slim to none, and only a two day window open for test appointments. I guess I'll be making other appointments at CVS, as that has a two week window. This testing stuff is stressing me out...I'll need a cruise after for sure!

My husband and I went on a 4 day and it was not all party, party...met some really nice locals on the ship. I agree with Brkintx that a 4 day is better than a 3 day. My husband and I were both in our 50s at the time and it was perfect for us.

Flying to NYC for a wedding on Wednesday. I'll let you know if I have issues....though it is a nonstop to a major metro area, I am thinking it will be alright.

I get it....have a safe and wonderful cruise. (It does get better!)

Which date sails at 3 p m
All the ones I've seen boarding is like 1 pm to 3 pm and sailawy hours later.
Ok my dec is earlier and boarding the first time slot is 1230 pm. Just the sailaway time I think is later than that.
I thought it was a bit strange too, but it is Adventure of the Seas leaving from Galvaston on Nov 26th. I've never seen a ship leave port so early, mainly because of turn around time.
-
Now with reduced capacity, how long did you have to wait to get into your stateroom? We sail at 3 pm from Galvaston and hoping we can check in earliest as possible to be able to enjoy the ship.

I’m hoping they change their policy, even colleges allow proof of a positive covid test in recent weeks as a substitute for a negative test.
I do too, however, I don't think that will happen. I think tests are here to stay for a while considering the cruise industry was so damaged by this pandemic. If everyone is fully vaccinated, it doesn't make all that much sense to me to have everyone test, but I do understand it and appreciate that the cruise lines are doing everything possible to make the return to cruising safe.
-
I guess I don't understand if it really is a good deal when we have reduced capacity.
-
I'll be interested to see how you think they compare. I've cruised both, and do like the free at sea things, but I seem to like the RCL ship interiors better.

Get the app, it has bar menus on it. Go to dining, then to bars, click on the bar you want, and then menus.

I think as time has gone by the loyalty program has changed. I remember on my second cruise, we got a picture frame from Royal as a gold...now on my third cruise with Royal, we'll get basically nothing.

im on the 11/12 sailing....😡
Have you heard anything about your sailing? Could you please keep us informed?
-
I'm on a late November sailing...Hope they sort it all out before then.
-
We have the same situation, and from what I've read on the RCL site, you may all check in at the same time though you have linked your reservations. We are counting on that.

I do have some cruise line stocks but wondered which lines give you benefits if you are a stock holder, and how much stock do you need to have?

I think anything can change....things are changing daily with this virus. I hope you find something your 10year old can participate in....kind of stinks that you are tied into ship excursions. I hope you have a fabulous cruise!
Do we or don't we? Will we need a covid test for 11/15 sailing?

Are you saying if we go on a cruise we have to test when we come back? IF so how is that done? We are going from Galvaston to Cozumel and Costa Maya.
