I have a few questions about the Vibe Beach Club: What are the hours that it is open? Are they different depending on the day? Is it open when the ship is in port? Do the bar hours differ from the times it is open? Does the above differ from ship to ship? Are the hours posted each day in the "Daily?"

Yes, a good point....that could be true. I've seen many TV commercials in the NYC metropolitan area for MSC. They are really targeting the NYC market and their pricing is very aggressive. However, it appears they are not cruising to some of the popular Caribbean ports.

Yes, I saw that. The question I was posting was why NCL cut out their second ship in NYC in the winter of 2024 and reduced the length of their cruises.

Now I see the 10-day cruise for the Getaway in February. Perhaps you can list the other ships/number of days cruising in the winter of 2024. Thank you.

For many years NCL has had two ships cruising out of NYC in the winters. The ships were always full and usually they were 11,12 and/or 14 day cruses. In 2024, there is only the Getaway doing a 10 day cruise in January (none in February) Does anyone know if NCL is planning on placing another ship departing from NYC in the winter of 2024? When I checked the NCL website nothing came up for February 2024.

Are Transatlantic cruises usually less crowded than regular shorter round trip cruises? If so, what percentage?

Hey Jim... How are you doing? Yes, back to cruising again. The Transatlantic is new for Barbara and me. We've never been to Europe, so this cruise seemed the "thing to do" as we get to see the Azores, Portugal, Spain, France, and Italy with lots of sea days that we love (and throw in Bermuda for good measure). The pricing was great.🙂 Next winter we will be back to our regular NYC - Caribbean cruise.....hope to see you then. Take care and thanks so much for the information. Don

Never been to Europe and taking a Transatlantic cruise this April. Does Lisbon have a HOHO Bus in Lisbon and has anyone used it? Any recommendations? Thank you.

I have never been to Europe and we are doing a Transatlantic Cruise in April. Our ports in Spain are Cadiz, Malaga, Barcelona and Valencia. How are the HOHO buses in these ports. Any recommendations? Thank you.

We've been cruising in the Caribbean on most NCL cruises and there usually is port information provided by NCL staff before each port. Does the same hold true for the European ports. Are there Q and A sessions?

Does the Vibe Beach Club have a smoking section as the Haven does? If so, does it differ from ship to ship?
