While I was on a B2B cruise on The Getaway and purchased a CRUISENEXT with the cruise consultant. At the same time I booked another B2B cruise with the cruise consultant. She sent the information/reservation to my cruise TA and he told me it was booked as one reservation. My Cruise TA was surprised to see it in that format. I called NCL today and the NCL person said my Cruise TA did it correctly. I called NCL because when I went to book the Vibe in "Entertainment", it came up as $309 / person and the NCL rep said it was the correct price. I wanted to make sure it was correct and it was. "MY NCL" even shows the itinerary as a 20-day cruise listing the two cruises as one. Thanks to the information from UKstages, he/she was correct and I'm in the Vibe for my next 20 day B2B cruise next February for the $309 price!🙂

They are listing the additional cost for my Vibe reservation as $309 per person. I suppose to be sure, it would be wise to call and pay direct for the Vibe instead of online.

How does NCL charge for the Vibe on a B2B cruise of 12 and 8 days. My reservation # for both cruises on the Escape are listed together on "MY NCL."

Getaway is arriving in NYC 4 hours late tomorrow (Sunday)....anyone know why?

Has anyone been on the Escape recently? I was on the ship several years ago pre-COVID. I liked the ship but was disappointed in the entertainment onboard compared to other Norwegian ships I have been on. I have seen some unkind reviews lately on the status of the ship but wondering if that is a general consensus. Some people.are more likely to complain than compliment.😉

Does the Skyy Vodka Bar have a set drink menu? If so, where can this be viewed? Also, is there a separate charge for this Bar, or included in the drink package? How are the drinks there?

I am doing a "Back to Back Cruise" in February and I have the same cabin. Is it necessary to get off the ship and reboard and "go through the lines again" or does NCL arrange for you to exit briefly from the ship and get right back on? Or even better, do they let you stay on the ship?

Thank you Zeg....I appreciate your quick response. I have had some great Espresso martinis at Cagney's in the past. Can you recommend any other bars/lounges? I know that many bars on the ship do not have coffee and therefore can not make my favorite martini....the Espresso.

Is the Getaway in Europe now? If so, when is it due back to the States?

We did a Transatlantic from NYC to Europe (via Bermuda - Azores) in early April and used the Vibe and it was fantastic. The weather was very warm the whole trip after we reached Bermuda. Plenty of sunshine with summertime temps.

Thinking of booking an upcoming Getaway cruise with a Club Balcony Suite with the Larger Cabin Category? How much larger is the balcony and what cabins and or decks have the largest balconies in this category?

On the last day and night of our otherwise great Breakaway Transatlantic cruise, it ended badly for us. For some reasons, Italy (or Livorno..the port we left to go to our final destination - Rome) does not allow any drinks except wine and beer to be served onboard the ship. And the casino was closed the last night (and day) and we were unaware and were stuck holding casino vouchers for over $350. After waiting on line at guess services for an hour that last night I was told that that slot vouchers are invalid at the end of the cruise. I explained that I had been on over 20 NCL cruises and the casino was never closed the last day and night. They gave me an email to make my complaint and NCL denied my complaint so I was out $350. Customer Service had showed had me in small print in the daily the the casino was closed the last day which I evidently missed and concentrated on packing and reading about the disembarkation information. So, lesson learned...cash in your casino slot vouchers every night and NCL now has a very disappointed, unhappy "Diamond Latitudes" customer!

I agree with you 100%. We purchased the Vibe for our 16 -Day Transatlantic cruise and loved it. We had great weather throughout the cruise and it was a fantastic place to hang out on "Sail-Away." We had 6 sea days on that cruise. We just purchased it again for our 15 day Southern Caribbean cruise on November 4th out of NYC. I believe it is really worth it for a long cruise with multiple sea days and a good chance for good weather. We also like to stay onboard for many ports that we have visited before on previous cruises. The service was great and the lounges are "padded and very comfy" and there are umbrellas for shade. Also a hot tub and bathrooms is available in the area. Located on the top deck, great for tanning! I doubt that I would purchase it for a 7-day cruise, but a great place to hang out and escape the "chair hogs!' Although a bit pricey, so are the ship's excursions and a great substitute for that venue (and the food and drinks onboard are free with the drink package). Therefore, not such a bad deal when you analyze it.😉

Getaway: Does the size of the Aft-Facing balconies differ depending on the deck, or are they all the same size?

Going on the Breakaway and wondering if it matters which bar onboard can handle most people's thirst for the various drinks, wines and beers (e.g martinis, Irish whiskeys, Kahula drinks, etc.) and serve the same assortment of drinks or is it necessary to check out the drink menu at the different locations?
