Ours is a 12 night on the Millennium. Fingers crossed!
I don't think they moved the Millennium. 👍

We booked a 2025 "Best of Japan" trip on Celebrity in February. Like you, I wish Royal would 1) have similar itineraries, and 2) publish them if they do!
Hope you have better than I did. I also booked a 2025 10-day cruise on Celebrity Summit. This week they informed me that it is being cancelled so they can move the ship to Ft. Lauderdale for 7-day itineraries.

I'm not real happy about this!
Yup. It sucks. Sorry.

I've got a March '25 Summit cruise from San Juan. Has this been changed? Gosh I hope not!
I'm surprised you didn't get an e-mail (check your spam folder). My Jan. '25 Summit from SJ was cancelled. It looks like they're relocating to FLL (see attachment).

By doing so you probably forfeited the $200 to $400 FCC they were offering. I'm trying to figure out what we will be doing before the cancellation date.
What exactly is the "cancellation date" anyway? I don't care at this point. I have no plans to cruise with Celebrity any time soon. They've had my $900 long enough.

"...Celebrity Cruises is pleased to announce..."
Celebrity's corporate-speak for "you're screwed".

My "canceled" Summit cruise still shows as active. I just cancelled it myself so I can get my $900 refundable deposit back sooner rather than waiting around for them to cancel it. 😡

I think they are saving money by cancelling the great deals I had booked, and forcing me to rebook (if I want to) at a higher price with less OBC 😂
Yup. My Jan. 2025 Summit cruise was $3,387 including tips and gratuities...and $400 OBC!
It was too good to be true.

I just got the e-mail cancelling my Jan. 2025 Summit sailing from San Juan. Wondering how long it will be until I see it removed from my Celebrity account and receive the OBC.

It seems counter-intuitive that people pre-purchasing dining packages cannot make pre-cruise reservations. I feel like I am being penalized by giving RC my money months ahead of the cruise.
Sure sounds like it.

I'm presuming this stay awhile programme doesn't give you access to a cabin ?
That's correct. Public areas only.

How long were you able to stay on and were you able to make a purchase for alcohol or a specialty lunch?
It's been a few years, but I believe we hung around the buffet only. Didn't purchase any drinks. We debarked around 1:00 pm.

We did this on our first-ever cruise in Barcelona. We had an 11:00 pm flight so we wanted to stay on the ship as long as possible.
It was very weird (and sad) watching the ship fill up with new passengers and hearing all the "welcome aboard" announcements. 😢

I'm on the May 19th Rhapsody cruise from San Juan...God willing. Maybe Royal will redeploy the affected cruises to San Juan as well. Lots of logistics to be sure.

My wife and I are early 60s. We sailed on Harmony in February. We didn't love it. Too many kids and all that goes along with that.
However, all the shows were fantastic! Definitely book ahead.
I can offer one tip, bring a towel to sit on at the aqua show. The seats all had soot and stained our clothes.

I'm sure this move was made to cater to the older royal or the kid free crowds that don't want an Oasis class or Icon ship with over 2k kids on it.
It would be great if Royal designated specific ships and/or itineraries as adult-only, like P&O does.

All google 'hits' are pre-Covid.
I noticed that, which is why I was asking. Thanks.
Stupid covid!

Does anyone know when Royal's Antigua beach club is schedule to be completed? I am scheduled to stop in Antigua in May 2024 and I'm wondering if it will be ready by then. Thanks.

I'd go RCCL unless price was hugely different.
Yeah...I think I'll do that.

I would still want to know the price to pick.
Radiance oceanview = $2,200 with tips and insurance. Legend extended balcony = $2,350 with tips.

I'm looking at a 7-day Western Caribbean cruise in Dec. 2024 from Tampa. My two choices are Dec. 7 on Radiance of the Seas or Dec. 8 on Carnival Legend. Both have the same ports. I've never sailed on either ship before. How similar or different are these ships?
Thanks.
