  1. All of those except for passport number are borderline public information. NCL doesn't have your passport number until you check in for a cruise.
  2. Same here. Those four are the standard script. Sometimes they'll ask me for the names of the passengers on the reservation as well. They've never asked me for my birthday, favorite color, pet's name or anything else like that.
  3. I don't know. I only ever deal directly with NCL. I have no idea why Costco can't apply the second CN.
  4. Couldn't the nefarious person who wanted to hack your reservation just talk to a different agent?
  5. No. I'm not. Do all the CAS agents know you by your voice? How often do you speak with them? That seems bizarre.
  6. Really? They all know you? Are you calling some special number? What if the person with ill-intent just called the regular reservation number? DOB is a funny one, because people just love to post on social media when it's their birthday!🥳 Full name, address and DOB don't seem to be particularly secure.
  7. Yes, I get that. I'm asking what other information they should ask for.
  8. How would you propose that they verify that the person on the phone is in fact the person holding the reservation?
  9. Slack? We don't need no stinkin' slack (or badges). 🤣
  10. I'm guessing to tell us which port, ship and timeframe so as to help us answer the OP's question? Arrival time enforcement may vary widely based upon those factors.
  11. If you need to eat twenty hours a day, then it sounds like MSC is your cruise line!!!
  12. You're confusing (port) arrival time with boarding time. There is no such thing as "check in time." Arrival time is what is assigned at on-line check-in and appears on your eDocs. Boarding time is where suite or latitudes status applies.
  13. I'm fine as long as the cabin is ready at bedtime (around midnight).
  14. Yeah, that's it. Some folks think that a working person making minimum wage and just trying to do their job is somebody to look down on. Fortunately, the vast majority of people in this world (and on this forum) are better than that.
  15. Thanks. I cruise often enough to have multiple opportunities to buy whatever CNs I will need, but good advice for those who don't.
  16. Do your edocs indicate check in time or arrival time? Most ports don't check for valid arrival times.
  17. Thanks. Was this against a new reservation that was on the 72 hour hold? Or one that already had a deposit paid? If the later, then I don't know why people on here without CNs or CFs applied don't just buy a CF right before final payment, apply it, and save the $150 or $250. You really couldn't do this with CNs unless you were currently on an NCL ship.
  18. You're probably right, but for many of us it wouldn't be considered a "major" cut in service.
  19. Thanks. Now it all makes sense!😎
