Will arrive night before 9/1 Nieuw Amsterdam from Whittier. Please help with hotel ideas. We will be taking the train so close to the station is a plus. Thanks.

If we take the train from Anchorage do you know if the 26 Glacier cruise would store our luggage should we take that excursion prior to boarding ship?

Most likely princess or Hal, July or August. Probably come in a day early and stay one extra day at end. Want to see glaciers. Other than that ports aren’t that important as they will all be new to us. Thanks.

Some of you folks need to put your blue and white Pom poms away. Royal did not tell 8/31 passengers it was delayed until 11:00 pm. Passengers on the ship knew hours earlier they would be at sea an extra day hours earlier. Carnival alerted their passengers at 7:00 pm. Bottom line is Royal could have, and should have done better.

Although hurricane season does run June through November you can absolutely set your watch with it peaking right around Labor Day.

Folks on Serenade say they won’t dock until Friday, a day late. Claim this is being communicated on ship. Passengers expecting to depart tomorrow haven’t heard squat since last night (stay tuned). So is the person on the ship a troll or is the company woefully inadequate when it comes to customer service.
