  1. We were on this same voyage and agree Club Orange is well worth it, we add it to any trip to have the separate restaurant. The servers were all great but I agree that Dani really stood out and made sure everyone was taken care of. We were impressed that the entire CO team could handle a large group (which now come to realize was your family) with what seemed like no impact to evening service at all 👍
  2. 1) Is the laundry service expensive? Just came back from Nieuw Statendam 7 night cruise and it was $63 for unlimited laundry for the trip. I usually purchase it every voyage as I would rather pack lighter (and not have to return home to do laundry 😆) 2) Are drinks free if you are gambling? No - as mentioned there are casino offers which include free drinks in casino; however, speak to the casino team once onboard and you have some play on your card already. They might be able to rate you then and offer you something (worth a shot)? 3) Should we opt out of the Gratuities and tip individually? That's totally up to you; however, I personally appreciate having the gratuity applied and being split to everyone on their end. Going to other resorts or Vegas where tipping has to be done everywhere individually is A LOT (Its nice to not have to worry about carrying $1 or $5 everywhere for once). There are some crew that really do an incredible job that I'll go out of my way to tip individually; also casino servers I'll tip individually as they will often remember me by name and have drinks out in incredible time lol 4) How early should we arrive for the initial boarding? The suggested time on your boarding pass is useless these days, show up whenever and you'll be good lol. 5) How early should we show up for the entertaiment venues? Most things I'd recommend 30mins if you want good seats, 15mins prior its a little iffy - any later than that you'll have very little pick. 6) Do we just show up for the included dining or can we make reservations? Anytime dining you can show up whenever; however, there may be a bit of a wait if you want a table for 2. They'll hand out pagers so you can head to the ocean bar and enjoy a drink while you wait. If you don't mind sharing a table you can usually get seated right away. So sorry for so many questions!!
  3. Focusing on the Caribbean in November, these are fares listed in CAD$ If there's a specific itinerary you want me to check the balcony price of I can take a look and see
  4. 100% Most people want champagne taste on a beer budget 😂
  5. Was onboard Rotterdam for the Thanksgiving cruise and it was great. The ship was definitely busy (lots of families) but we still had a great time. Some people just have it in them to complain - no matter what happens its generally a negative perspective. Some people complain that water takes 15mins to get, others get water from the beverage stations and go on enjoying vacation 😅
  6. As mentioned enroll your children in ClubHAL and they'll have a great time with the activities staff and other kids onboard. Yes, the stateroom TVs have a great selection of movies (included) and there's a selection of puzzles and games at the crows nest. Evening entertainment is limited to music-walk and a variety of shows (step one dance or vocalists) , comedians, trivia, 'game nights', and movies by the lido. Pre-covid there was usually a magician or impersonator etc which unfortunately seems to be gone. If y'all are civilized / kids are well behaved you'll have a good time 😂. Let your kids loose and running/jumping into the pool and expect a bunch of grumpy/angry shipmates lol
  7. It's sad that some people can't be bothered to check the luggage tag to just ensure they have the right one. I double-triple check the luggage tags because I've seen so many duplicate bags over the voyages - some even missing the same emblems that fall off etc... Recently I just stopped putting bags out, rather do self-assist and have my belongings with me (easier the morning of to get ready as well).
  8. Port Everglades staff don't seem to know much about Club Orange. I tried pointing it out (priority boarding on our passes) but the representative just handed me a card and insisted we have to wait. While waiting the agent was announcing that 4*, 5*, Club Orange, etc could board at anytime. So we went and the other reps there collecting cards had no clue what we were talking about but finally just let us board.
