Hi folks are there sockets next to bed on ocean cruises for cpap machines? We always travel with an extension for hotels but I see they’re not allowed on board

Hi folks how do I leave roll calls etc? We had to cancel wake of the Vikings and I’m still getting lots of notifications which though interesting are not needed now and I can return. thanks to all who have helped with advice etc

We’ve just had to cancel a Viking cruise as husband not well but thinking of saga as no flights involved (except from Inverness south). Now missed out on 3 Viking cruises , one river switched to Alaska where we caught Covid and now this one. We’re 69 & 72 don’t really mind mixed age groups

I take preventative antibiotics for a chest condition and we have various medical stuff going on. We usually have all year multi trip insurance and it’s expensive. Just about to go into battle with them for a cancelled cruise

Thank you he had a knee replacement in may and used crutches then we’re lucky as our house is all on ground floor level (new build designed that way) his main problem is pain from the sciatica which is almost unbearable at present but doc is working on it with new meds. Hoping they kick in otherwise will have to cancel 😢😢😢

Thank you very much we are actually Bergen to Montreal but and useful info gratefully received. I’m assuming once on board it will be much easier for him. He has new meds so hopefully will improve shortly. He may very well manage with crutches

Thank you so much. Just exploring at present don’t have a chair yet. He had knee replacement which went well now other knee is bad due to be done October 31. He has very bad sciatica which is affecting his walking and balance. He can walk short distances so if we can just get him onto the ship it’s a start not worried about excursions

We are on Viking Mars 12 September from Bergen with pre extension in Oslo. husband may need to bring electric wheelchair or scooter along. does anyone have experience of this situation?

On holiday we eat breakfast then either lunch or dinner. I’ll have to make an exception on Mars as the food looks fabulous

We’ve been in hotel rooms abroad where there’s literally only one power socket right across the room

You’d be surprised some hotels have the only power point on the desk right across the room

We’ve booked chefs table even though I don’t drink alcohol but my husband does and he will enjoy it

We have reservations for chefs table but no indication of the menu on those days. Can they be changed if we don’t like the menu eg soft shell crabs or octopus etc?

Hi folks husband uses cpap and I know there are power points next to beds on ships. however we travel with an extension lead as a lot of hotels don’t. we don’t intend to use it in the ship. will they confiscate it and will we get it back as doing a 10 day fly drive in New Brunswick after cruise in September
