I live in downtown Boston just 10 minutes from you guys at the dock.... And yeah, I think it's good that you guys are staying put right here in the city for tonight... I'm also a pilot and there is a saying in the flying community... and let me revise it for your situation on the ship >>> "I'd rather be here at the Dock and wish I was out there at Sea... then be out there at Sea and wish I was back at the dock..." Catch my drift??? 😉 Hope the Welcome Aboard show and the Dinner was good. I wish I can jump on board right about now and eat some o' them wings and pretzels at O'Sheehan's!!! 😄 (We were on Pearl last year) Enjoy the sailing tomorrow!!! Bon Voyage!!!

Awesome!!! We'll be on it too!!! 😁 We live in Boston so we'll fly down to Tampa and then sail our way back to Boston. We love and have done big ships in the past (Allure/Freedom/Liberty/Breakaway, etc) but we'll plan to make this one a very lazy, relaxing, do nothing but eat and sleep cruise... and may be some work here and there... 😜 Does anyone know when the drydock is scheduled for Grandeur? I heard next year some time... Hoping it will be before the Repo...🤷‍♀️

Ok, so I see what you guys are saying... so I do need to clarify further... I actually had Traditional at 5:30 but was easily able to change to MTD for 7:15 for the entire cruise while on board... While the Right-side line may have been for non-reserve MTD but no one was ever being turned away there every time we were in line... and with a 4100+ pax cruise... I cannot imagine everyone in that right-side line had non-reserve MTD...

You must have been special... because all of the people on the right-side line in this picture all got seated in MTD (no one being turned away) even without an MTD reservation (meaning they all had Traditional dining reservations)... 🤷‍♂️ This was on a Sea Day on Liberty otS.

If at any time you feel like there are too many people around you (you won't but if you do) then go to the gym. You will not see anyone there... 😁 (Liberty's Gym on a Sea Day taken on May 24, 2023)

What is your personal opinion on MTD versus Set Time Dining? BTW, I thoroughly enjoyed reading your reporting on these sailings... especially, your writing style... it felt balanced as you honestly described how you saw things (good and bad) but always recognizing that others may see it differently... That is very appealing... We're actually going B2B on Liberty, out of Liberty (Cape that is 😊) starting May 23rd.... but will look forward to reading your next sailing!!! Safe ride home...

I know you're doing S2S... but may I ask you about B2B? How does Royal B2B work? Do you have to get off the ship? If so, where do you go (or where do they take you)?? And when do you get back on??
