What did you guys end up doing at Port Canaveral?

There was a family from Boston area on our last Mera cruise (on NOV5) that they rented a van for ONE Way (around ~$150 per)... TWICE for TO/FROM Red Hook Terminal and they said the agency had a drop off/pickup at the terminal... I cannot recall which rental agency but give various ones a call and ask them... Otherwise, it's Uber Lyft like Jamie stated...

When you guys went Radio Silent... I kinda had a feelin' that's what you guys might have done. Good for you guys. I feel a bit woozie just looking at the Wind Map above... Can't imagine going through that for 2 more days... What a strange, head-scratcher of a decision on the ship's diversion for this voyage... It almost seems as if the ship is chasing after the bad winds... Sleep well and rest up for your next planned voyage!!!

So this is where Meraviglia is being reported to be right now (right smack in the middle of 44kt wind gusts) on its way from Bahamas to NYC... Meanwhile, the path from Bermuda to NYC appears to be......... I dunno, as I'm not a meteorologist...

The cruise ship entry/exit channels in Bermuda are charted as being *150m* wide. Both Apex and Mera are only about ~40m (39 and 43 respectively) wide... If Apex (39m) made it in... then I would think Mera can at just 43m wide... but Mera headed for stormy Florida waters instead... 🤷‍♂️

It's an island in the middle of the ocean... Ships can plan entry from all directions... come on now...

That's only for the sh1++y iPhones... but for some newer Androids... Hotspotting off of another WiFi (without cell) works perfectly fine that way...

Celeb Apex got in there fine though (when Mera decided to go for the wet Florida)... and there is a ship there now... but what do I know... 🤷‍♂️

One major reason why I would never sail Meraviglia again... They put the YC area across the entire front of the ship on top decks. And because I cannot afford to get YC, for a poor person like me (like Leonardo DiCaprio in Titanic 😁) are not able to go up front and view out the front of the ship as we're sailing away... That is a sh1++y design of a ship. So for me... this is the farthest towards the front that I can get on Mera before your YC Concierges shun me away because I am in the poor class. 😂😂😂 Now on my next sailing on Symphony of the Seas... this is the view I will be allowed to enjoy even though I will be sailing like lower class Leonardo stuck down below the engine room... 🤩🤩🤩

I am absolutely amazed that your Captain approved/made the decisions to go to the Cape and Nassau... instead of Bermuda. Look at the wind gust forecast for tomorrow morning... by 6AM you guys will be rocking harder than it is now trying to sail through 52 knot wind gusts.... but look at Bermuda (Hamilton) out to the east... 🤦‍♂️ I'm pretty sure, this is due to the slow @$$ WiFi on board Mera... your Captain probably could not get the weather forecast on his iPhone just like I couldn't get crap to download after having paid MSC $300 for 2 devices for Browse and SCREAM (ooops... I meant Browse and Stream...) Brace yourself and hope you have some Dramamine... 😴

This was our poor people's risotto (non-YC) from last week. It was absolutely delicious... no crushed doritos were necessary... 😂😂😂

Just another data point for you to consider... I just used AC750 on MSC Meraviglia... And Mera has a crappy WiFi speeds at 3D/1U on their 2.4GHz band... and the AC750 didn't impact those speeds at all. I still got 3D and 1U off of my AC750. MSC calls it their "Browse and Stream" WiFi package at $160 per person per day and NO DEVICE switching!!! I would actually call it their "Browse and SCREAM" package.... because it is soooooooooooooooo slooooooooooooooooow even without my AC750... 😭

Just tested my AC750 while at home: Without AC750 (direct from home router) 250M down and 100M up With AC750 100M down and 100M up So at my home... I get a 60% hit on downloads but no apparent hit at all on upload speeds... Obviously, your mileage will vary... 🤷‍♂️

I'm not quite sure how a new comer to an established market place, can have that attitude and expect to succeed... (unless they come in very cheap and try to undercut the competitors...) 🤷‍♂️
