  1. I've been on Royal Caribbean twice and carnival 2x. I've been looking at going with RC.
  2. While I have been on several cruises to the Caribbean and soon to be Canada, I think I'm ready for a European cruise. It will be me and my 7 year old daughter. I don't really care about the itinerary per say. Looking to go to Italy/Spain/Greece. How do I decide? I would ideally like to spend a day exploring the port before and after embarkation/disembarkation. I'm usually a search by price lowest to highest kinda gal
  3. I did kids club with my 5 then 6 year old. She loved it! She's very extroverted and loves being around people and kids so she loved the other kids and the "teachers" . They did a lot of arts and crafts, played games ect. They had kids dinner a few nights on the Magic. You can peek in on them to see how they're doing but i never did. The kids club is one of the huge pluses when I'm crusing as a single parent and my daughter LOVES being around people so she had a ball!
  4. I too bought a bottle of wine from the bar. I forgot to put my wine in my carry on 😫 so i just bought a bottle onboard at the casino bar.
  5. Like arts and crafts, played games, played with toys.
  6. I took my 6 year old on a holiday cruise. She loved the kids club. They were open on sea days from 9-12,2-5 and then 6:45 to 10. If you wanted them to stay after 10pm, there was a $7/hour charge. You had to pick them up by 1am. On port days, they were open 9am to 5pm and gave the kids lunch. And then from 6:45 to 10, same as sea days.
  7. Hi. I tried to search to see but to no avail.. I've previously booked my last 3 cruises direct on the cruise line website. Is there any difference to booking direct vs booking with a reputable 3rd party site? I noticed that on some cruise lines, there is a price difference vs booking elsewhere.
  8. I usually put it in airplane mode when we set sail. Thank you!
  9. Hi. I was wondering, I will be in Charleston and Port Canaveral on a cruise next week. Would I be able to use my phone while the ship is docked at the port and NOT incur data charges?
  10. You can buy bottles of wine at the bar... Might be cheaper than by the glass, especially champagne since they use those tiny glasses.
  11. Just got off the conquest today. 1. Pulled pork in the bbq ( guy's place) 2. Funfetti cheesecake 3. Short ribs in MDR Eta: fish tacos at blueiguana
  12. This was best cake I've ever had. So yummy!
  13. The fine print said " Not valid for premium experiences including: Wine Pairings Dinners, Taste of Royal, Mystery Dinner Theater and Holiday Celebration Dinners. As well as lunch only being on sea says, which there are only 3
  14. Hi all. I'm booked on the 7 day Enchantment of the Seas over Christmas Break and I've been checking the pricing of the UDP. It is now 183.99. Is that a good deal? Do you think it will drop lower? As this is an older ship, there are not many specialty dining venues.
  15. I was on the Magic in August. They were open from like 9-12, 2-5, 7-10 and then starting from 10pm to 1 am was the night owls. We were never turned away for lack of space but we were there when they first opened. They did keep them from like 8 to 4 on the one port day but I took my kids with me when we landed in Bermuda. My 5 almost 6 year old LOVED it! They did so much cool stuff with them.
  16. Hi. My 5 year daughter has off school friday and monday in october for no apparent reason 😆. Sooo...I decided to book this cruise. I know its known as a party cruise but will there be come kids on the ship? She loved Camp Ocean last cruise, just wanted to know if the number of kids on these cruises is normal or lighter.
  17. i did it. I did the midship for 56$. I thought about the extra space and that sofa 🙂
  18. I am sailing on a 4 day from Mia on the Conquest.I saw that I had an upgrade offer to oceanview for $46. I don't mind inside cabins and have never had an oceanview room. My previous cabin was mid ship and deck 1 and this room is in the back of the ship on the main deck. Would you upgrade? ETA: they do have midship rooms for $56
  19. Hi all! On carnival's website it says that you have to present a QR code from the travel authorization form. I printed out the approval form. Will that suffice? I did not see a QR code on the form.
