  1. Hi - I was thinking just yesterday I wondered what you were up to - hoping enjoying yourself on a cruise and having loads of fun. I haven't popped in to the other thread lately, so I'm glad you posted here.😎
  2. Back from the Urologist - f/u visit for the kidney stones. I took the reports for the 4 tests/panels the ER had done & he was able to access the images via their system. He showed me the stones - 1 lower in the right which caused last week's pain & 3 more up higher plus 1 up high in the left. Gave me a strainer and a hat, said to go to his hospital if I can't get through the next round and they'll call him in. He scheduled another scan for late next week. Says given my A1C is good & I have no history of high glucose, no need to worry about the elevated glucose as it's likely a response to the stress. Same for the other things that were out of whack. Also said no need to f/u on the liver cyst that was noted in the scan report.🤷‍♀️ So it's all good until it's not. A Mavs🏀 victory would help me feel better.
  3. Hugs 🤗 you'll know what you're going to do when the day comes. More hugs 🤗
  4. @marshhawk hugs, oh my, more hugs - I hope there was no damage when you fell and, if so, you heal quickly.
  5. 🤞you make it out, but do take the hotel up on their offer if things look iffy - no need to stress. 🙏 for safe, smooth travels.
  6. Great news @dfish on getting the procedure scheduled. Hope it goes well and breakfast after is yummy!!
  7. @marshhawk Happy Birthday 🍰🥳to your DH @catmando
  8. Congrats @erewhon on the wonderful 6 mo check in and 5 year milestone!!
  9. Eye procedure update - no go (again) today due to the antibiotic I'm taking for the kidney stones - come back in 5 weeks. Had it not been for the antibiotic, allergies had cleared up enough she could have done the procedure, getting me to the halfway point - instead, we're still working on #2 of 4. Drop the newest ointment, go back to the old ointment, continue the newest Rx drops (4x/day), continue the other drops (every 1-2 hours). Drop the cold compresses & resume warm compresses.
  10. 3 good days today, but the local Ozone Action Day cancels out Nat'l Get Outdoors Day. Pass on the drink, would love a muffin, try the wine, not been to the port (it was on the April May cruise we had to cancel) - look forward to the pictures. Hugs @Vict0riann🤗 Happy Birthday to my sister.🍰 Seeing PCP this morning for kidney stone f/u; hopefully she'll sign the papers for the the ER time off - work does not accept the Dr note - they want FMLA papers, so here we go again.🙄 Afterwards 🤞 have eye procedure. Currently 73° w/84% humidity headed to 84°, 🌧 starting around 1. Ozone Action Day - stay indoors. Prayers 🙏 and positive thoughts for all.
  11. Funny guy Donald Duck - he quacks me up. There - it's been said 🙄 Creativity should be celebrated. I have a few pieces of Celtic art that I really like - a needlepoint that hangs my entryway & a pair of earrings. I greatly appreciate the tedious work of archiving. I would enjoy the meal w/chicken subbed for the 🍤 🦐 , pass on the drink & wine. Been to the port a few times w/the first being early 90's so no digital pictures and most recent just before the shutdown so those pics are on computer. We had a few people offering to sell us drugs the first time, but not the last - guess we no longer look like their target customer.🥴 We were there Feb 2016 for my birthday - had a rainy but enjoyable day. Hugs @kazu and thanks for the beautiful flowers. Currently 75° w/85% humidity headed to sunny 93°. Rains expected beginning tomorrow. Prayers 🙏 and positive thoughts for all.
  12. We enjoyed climbing Dunn's River Falls on our first cruise in the early 90's - it was beautiful, don't think we could climb it today & sure don't want to battle today's crowds. Our last cruise w/a stop in Jamaica we did the bamboo raft down the Martha Brae - it was relaxing and gorgeous. That was right before the shut down.
  13. We were on NS last year on her last cruise before going into drydock and her first cruise coming out of that drydock - while there was noticeable work starting while we were still on the cruise prior to drydock (as well as some that continued post drydock), we did not notice any issues with supplies. Sure, there were random "we're out of that" responses, but no more than we have had on any other cruise. And much much less than in the first few cruises after the Covid restart. Would not hesitate to book again on either side of a drydock.
  14. Hugs🤗 and prayers🙏 Deep breaths until you can see the beauty around you and find some of the peace that is there for you. I know it's hard to do in the moment, but you can get there.❤️ Thank goodness DH is getting good medical attention and you have a housekeeper looking out for you. More hugs.
