  1. @Charles4515 Thank you so much for your info on the streams...I appreciate it. I might get back to with another question once I get my bearings, lol. I would like more details on the streams, and how you set it up tand restrict it to only show the sections you are interested in
  2. @bbtablet Can you please tell me how you bookmark a page to get back to findi it? I get very lost
  3. @broberts I tried this exact thing yesterday, and still got a bunch of random unrelated search results
  4. Question #1) How do I find a topiic? I have tried and failed. I get no results on my topic and a bunch of unrelated posts. #2) How do I find a general page that shows the most recent posts sorted by date?
  5. Where do you access the form? Does it expire? Should I submit months in advance for NCL Platinum status match, or does it matter? Can someone post the link or tell me the steps to find the form? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
  6. @vacation44 Fantastic. My spoiled kids exit high school with Platinum status, whereas I had to work for that! Over several years! lollllll
  7. @JamieLogical Funny story: On an NCL past cruise, I was like, "Where did all these people find out about bringing flower leis or white clothes?" Although we went to the GLOW parties every single time, that first time, I felt like I was missing some huge section of info on what to bring as the "in crouwd" seemed to know these things as we did not. Good thing we all had brought some white clothing anyway, but we did not bring any flower stuff etc. Question: Where does one find out about the theme nights on a particular sailing (other than the Cruise Critic boards)? You would think that the cruise line would post these party nights under the itinerary or something....lol. 10 Years later, I still have no clue about where to find out about themed parties in advance so I can pack accordingly. lol
  8. @Agent999 Thank you for your reply. I am looking for VARIETY, but I just want to see what other people have to say about MSC since if I am admitting I love NCL then those who might want to reply will have that as their benchmark for comparative purposes I see good deals on MSC, but do not want to spend $$$$ on something that others overall do not like compared to what we all know NCL offers. Just looking for a little info & details from others who have sailed both. I realize what I like like is different from what others like, but general info of comparisons is what I am looking for such as bars, nightlife, food, buffet, pool music, shows caliber, etc...
  9. @amygutman Firstly, thank you for your reply. By fashionable, I mean that I have 2 hard core athlete girls who are girly glam when not competing. So, my intention with that was to say that we are a sporty family who likes fancy things as well, so we play hard & then enjoy the finer things in life Palm Beach style. Anyway, we have sailed in the Haven as well as in normal balcony rooms only on the larger ships: Breakaway, Getaway (twice), Escape, Encore (twice), Bliss, and upcoming Viva. I am very interested in hearing about your experiences of MSC cruises and your opinion of how you enjoyed them vs. NCL. We normally book regular balconies, and only do Haven type level ups if the price is irresistible.I would love to hear your thoughts. Thank you.
  10. @LadyZoltThank you for the wonderful details. I know exactly what you mean by "good intentions" but lack of proofreading errors. Thank you so much for your detailed info. May I ask you how the normal buffet and complimentary restaurants were< (this is importants as it is easy to pay for specialty, but we like normal dining as well. Also was there lively music at the pool, and any fun nightlife like music or comedy?
  11. @jtrollin Thank you for your reply. May I ask what are the ages of your kids? Is it true that since I have kept all documentation for my 2 kids's (15 & 16 years old) since they first cruised in 2015 that they will finally be able to have their points added to a Latitudes profile once they turn 18? Does NCL keep track of this or will I have to keep track in some way and provide proof of past cruises? Is 18 the correct age to have their acct's created, and do I simply contact the Latitudes Dept. or what are the steps to have this completed? Thanks in advance for any details and advice you can advise on...
  12. Thank you @hawkeyetlse for your informative reply. I added another question for you if you do not mind replying....
  13. @hawkeyetlse Your reply was awesome! Thank you so much. Would you mind elaborating on the part about "....you will get two sets of Platinum benefits.." ? If my hubby is in 1 room with 1 kid, and I am in the next door room with the other kid, since we are each registered in 1 room each, how do we get 2 sets of platinum benefits? Normally we get 1 set of benefits per each person in the 1 room. so can you explain what you mean? How would we get an extra set of benefits (and what benefits would count) with the extra room? What extra benefits qualify with the additional room? Thank you kindly for providing your expertise on the matter. I greatly appreciate it.
  14. We are NCL PLATINUM & sail the larger vessels due to more activities etc. We recently sailed Celebrity Edge & like it very much except for the fact that drinks are not included & no water slides. But ship was nice, food was good, and room was great. The fact that entertainment was lame, lunch buffet was minimized, and drinks were not included definitely did not compare to the fabulous experience we always have on NCL. We have also tried a few Royal druises and food was not as good. So, this leads me to my real question..... ***Now we are looking into MSC. The ships look beautiful, but we are interested in some tips from those who have sailed MSC recently. I am only interest in recent sailings (2019-2023 on the biggest boats (Seashore, Seaside, Seascape, Meraviglia, etc. We would like to know how MSC compares to our beloved NCL. We live in South Florida with 2 fashionable teenage athlete girls and we need activities and nice food, pools, water slides, fun sporty stuff, kids club, etc. Also, my husband and I like food, pools, cocktails, live pool music, comedy clubs, bars, dancing, etc. We are an active family who live to live it up to the fullest. We do larger ships always and cruise 2-3 times per year. We are looking for advice on those who have tried MSC and how it compares to NCL in a few different ways...Any info is greatly appreciated. Details, details, please
  15. Thank you @vacation44. I was informed of that. I appreciate your tips and info.
  16. Thank you so much @ggTexasGal I appreciate you post and your tips! They were very helpful.
  17. We are a family of 4 (2 ADULTS + 2 KIDS) We are NCL PLATINUM. 2 ADULTS earn Latitudes Points under our specific Latitudes #'s + 2 KIDS (no Latitudes accounts.) We cruise 2-3 times per year & we have always booked 1 room. *I found a cruise where I want to book 2 rooms vs. 1 room. **2 rooms of 1 adult + 1 kid per each room is cheaper overall than 4 people in 1 room. So this is why I am asking the following questions: QUESTION #1 : Do you earn extra latitudes points for booking 2 rooms? QUESTION #2: If the answer is yes to the above question, is there a way in which I must book this? Example: Do you need to book both rooms at the same time to qualify for any additional points? Must I book with NCL vs. my normal online booking? Can 1 adult and 1 child be booked in each of the 2 rooms, or must both adults be on each room booking to qualify? QUESTION #3: Has anyone done this, and what are the specifics on this? Thank you for any tips from those who know...
  18. I did. I just wanted to post under Celebrity as well since I am new an not sure which category gets more activity (the cruise line in general posts, or the roll calls). Thank you for the tip, though. I appreciate it.
  19. Hello. (This is my 1st post ever, lol) I just joined. We are from South Florida, family of 4 (very sporty boaters & fishermen/women) with 2 teenage girls on SPRING BREAK. This will be our 1st CELEBRITY cruise. We are so excited to explore this wonderfully unique itinerary. Hoping there are some other teenagers on board! *We cruise a lot with Norwegian on the mega ships, so this is a new adventure for us. We are open to the new Celebrity experience. We will be at the bar.....looking for the pool parties & fun! Hopefully there is music by the pool? We all love music! **Shout out at me if there are other SPRING BREAKERS with teenagers going on this cruise. We do not know what to expect. I have tried to search strings to see about "SPRING BREAK" on CELEBRITY, but I have not found much info. We wanted a break from the jam-packed NCL & RCCL lines this March, so we booked this for the itinerary. However, we love to party, so we are saying hello to everyone who is going on Celebrity this March 2023. PAST CRUISES *All have been to the Caribbean, (Eastern), (Western), (Southern): 2003 RCCL Voyager (E); 2015 NCL Escape (E) 2017 RCCL Independence (E), 2019 NCL Getaway (W)-SPRING BREAK, 2022 NCL Encore (E)-SPRING BREAK(E), 2022 NCL Breakaway (W), 2022 NCL Getaway (S) 2023 CELEBRITY Edge (S)-SPRING BREAK.
