Question about Uber in Amsterdam, is it safe and relatively cheap for Uber? I've never used my Uber app outside of the U.S. Wondering if UberX is safe or will i need to get Uber Black or something? Anything else I should know? Can we just use the same uber app in amsterdam?

Great question. I am curious as well because I will be with my parents walking from the Rotterdam to CS - taking a train from CS to Ghent after the cruise!! We might visit Antwerp for a day trip though!

So I have never been on a cruise before, but when i'm at a buffet in Las Vegas or anywhere on land, I just form at the line where the clean plates are. After that, if I see that people are in line for a particular section that I'm not interested in, I skip over them. Is that bad I wonder for a cruise? No reason to wait in line at the sushi section when I dont eat sushi just to be polite. Skipping over them only makes sense?

Good question, also, are their tables for 3 in the MDR?

Never been on a cruise so apologies if this is a dumb question. Going on a cruise this summer on the Rotterdam for 7 nights. Just wondering if anyone knew when the busiest time for dinner is at the Lido Buffet? Trying to plan to eat dinner there when its not so busy and we can find a table for 3 easily. Also, is there any difference between the LIDO Buffet vs. MDR? I heard most of the food is about the same. So the only difference would be the ambience and sitting for the meal basically right? Just wanted to know what people prefer and why?

Question: For Club Orange, is there usually open tables where you dont have to wait? Do you usually get to sit with your group alone or do you have to share tables with anyone?

Im thinking about buying Club Orange for our Norway 7 night cruise but I am not sure if its totally worth it. I figure I'm going to the MDR a few nights, Pinnacle Grill for a night, Buffet for at least 1 night, and eating off the ship at least 1 night.... Is Club Orange worth paying extra for? (I am not staying in a Neptune to get it included). Ive heard somewhere that the Club Orange priority boarding does not really happen.

Hello everyone! I will be on the Rotterdam and the Eurodam this year. I want to pack light which is everyone suggests, but that'll mean I need to use laundry services. Does anyone know if these ships have passenger-use laundry machines or laundry service? Anyone know how much this is or how they charge people (what they charge)?

Follow up question: If I have a party of 3, 2 of us have the signature drink package, 1 of us doesnt have anything. Can 2 of us order bottle water and sodas and just give it to the 3rd person? Or will they be eyeballing us lol. Also, when they bring you a bottle water or soda, do they open it for you or can you request that it be closed so that you can take it to the room?

Since I know you guys all gamble on HAL, seems like a good place to ask: Im going on a 7 day - Norway cruise on the Rotterdam on May 20. Ship leaves Amsterdam, then one day at sea. After a few ports the last day is at sea returning to Amsterdam. Can I expect the casino to be open only during those days at sea? How about the first day when the ship leaves Amsterdam? Also, what time do you guys think the casino opens until? I like to play well into the night if I can, do you think the casino will be kept open or will there be a closing time? Additionally, Im on a 7 day Alaska (SEA-SEA) cruise on the Eurodam in July. Same questions?
