Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Hi everyone, Does anyone know what Beach Club the Disney Excursion "Inclusive Beach Experience (PGO25)" goes to? The description says it is 60 minutes away from the port. If you have done this or any of the other beach excursions in Progreso I would love to hear about your experience!
  2. Do you like pools? There is a free pool and a pool you pay to access.
  3. Thank you so much, I hope you have a wonderful 2024 as well ❤️
  4. Trying to plan a cruise with my cousin, brother, and friend for 2024! Looking at a Western cruise in May. 2023 was a doozy of a year - my husband cheated on me and we're getting divorced. I am looking forward to 2024 surrounded by family and friends who love me. Time to celebrate the end of a shitty thing and welcome in new, fun memories!
  5. We were there a couple weeks ago and I think the taxi sign said $100. It was a lot of money.
  6. I said what I said. There was an itemized list for what he brought us. I don't know how they would account for drinks I collected myself, but then again if I got them for myself, why would I tip the guy for them? We paid $64 a person for the all inclusive option. I don't know if that's what you mean by facility fee but we paid that to get in. Then we tipped what the retail price of the food and drink we ordered, but we didn't pay the retail price, because we had already paid $128 for all inclusive.
  7. Oh, my husband looked at the bill, not me, so I didn't realize there was a suggested amount on there. For us, the suggested amount must have been around $15 thought because my husband said "does $15 sound good" to me after he looked at it! Thanks for the additional info.
  8. Yes, we did AI and they gave us an itemized bill, but we didn't pay the bill. They explained that it was so we would know how much to tip. When I read about the process it seemed weird, but in actually it made sense. We got no extras, this was only for food and drinks.
  9. We picked Paradise Beach over Mr Sanchos because PB has the biggest pool and does not have a buffet! We just went last week and it was great.
  10. Thanks! We ended up tipping $15, which was 20% of our bill. In case anyone else comes across this thread, how it works is they itemize the things you order and then they give you the bill so you know how much to tip. The service was a little slow but it was fine and we got everything we wanted/ordered.
  11. Just got off the Equinox. I got flavored lattes and an Americano at Al Bacio every day with the Classic package and it was included.
  12. It's very possible that both of your suitcases didn't fit in the same cart, so were split up into different carts and those carts were loaded at different times. Your situation isn't comparable to someone whose bag was completely lost.
  13. Will definitely have more than one 🍹 for you! 😁 Ireland is on my bucket list so I’m jealous!
  14. I was being a little facetious with my use of “nervous”. Just seems like no one has anything positive to say about Celebrity anyone. But Bo1953 is right - time to stop reading and start getting in vacation mode. I’ll have a great time either way! Heck, a hurricane could hit and I’ll still be thankful to not be at work 😂😂😂
  15. I board the Equinox tomorrow (we’re driving to the port right now actually) and that post made me super nervous. Glad to hear that they reversed it - hopefully that holds for the next week! It’s our first Celebrity Cruise and some of the posts on this board have been making me really nervous.
