  1. For the things that actually matter I did, yeah! Both via the Aus website and on the phone. It was just little things I was curious about that don't actually matter. I hope you make it here one day! You should look at a repositioning cruise to here!
  2. On their site itself it's mostly ok, as I have it set to Aus (although it still links to the USA for military discounts etc, zero of which apply here). It's more if I google something, like say, what Christmas celebrations are on board, even when specifying Carnival Australia, all the results are for the USA based cruises. It's not wanting that actually matters, lol
  3. I have for the important things. Like I said, it's just a little frustration, that's all.
  4. Just a tiny rant. I'm getting a little frustrated by regularly finding info on Carnival perks and events etc that don't apply to Carnival Australia, because the top search results (no matter where I search) link to Carnival, not Carnival Aus. Even their own website links to the main Carnival brand with information that isn't accurate to Carnival Aus. It's just a little frustrating.
  5. Enjoy it Mic! Looking forward to hearing all about it 😁
  6. Safe travels! Enjoy! Can't wait to hear all about it when you get back 😁
  7. Gosh I wish it was today! But no, that was just me trying to do a different way to show it πŸ˜‚
  8. Lol thanks! (It's 3:29, 329 days to my cruise πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚)
  9. We have the benefit that we are our only family here. We haven't had an extended family Christmas in 4 years or so. No missing out on family for us, our usual bunch will all be in the same cabin lol.
  10. Oh awesome! Is there a page or similar to make sure I'm on the right Saturday?
  11. Going by your username, hi local person to me! 😁 Do you know if they tend to have Christmas activities on board too?
  12. I saw the build a bear shop listed! Any idea if they're the same price they are on land? Mini-human is already saving up for one I saw online that the US Carnival Christmas cruises have Santa visit and give the kids a gift, but it was nigh on impossible to find info for Aus!
  13. Well folks, this will be our first family cruise and our first Christmas cruise too! We'll be on the Carnival Splendor What do cruises get up to for Christmas? I'm hoping it will be good for the mini-human!
  14. If I'm reading their website correctly, only prohibited if they have surge protection built in? From the exemptions section. Of the same link you posted: Β·Personal grooming devices such as hair dryers, flat irons, curling irons, shavers, and other electrical devices, such as fans (no larger than 12" in diameter), power strips, multi plug box outlets/adaptors, and extension cords (without surge protectors) are allowed when used with proper caution. However, if such devices are determined to pose a hazard, they will be removed and returned on debarkation morning.
