Only 6 days to go before flying into Mumbai, still no news from SS re itinerary, excursions etc. is anyone else in the same situation?? am our reservations, excursions and personal information has been wiped off mysilverseas account. Charlie001 Sydney

Meg are you in Australia? I am and I only heard yesterday about the hotel we are staying in via our rep so nothing official. Have had no correspondence from SS since 14 Jan when our tour from Dubai to Mumbai was cancelled. We were told to make our own way to the hotel, we know nothing else apart from this webpage which is a valuable source of information. No info whatsoever on mysilverseas account. Hi UK cruiser and others, This is great information for me in Australia as I haven’t even been given the name of the hotel in Mumbai where I will be staying. There are no excursions on mysilverseas account, no restaurant reservations, nothing has been updated. If it wasn’t for this webpage I would be totally in the dark. I’ve contacted SS on several occasions to be told they’re still working out hotels and when we will be officially notified. Thank you to all for your shared and valuable information. I spoke with a SS rep on Thursday who advised I should receive an email Thursday or Friday re Hotel accommodation in Mumbai, today is Saturday and no email. The communication from Silverseas is appalling. Has anyone in Australia been advised re hotel accommodation in Mumbai or received a refund for the 26 Jan cruise Dubai to Mumbai?? Charli001 Sydney

Not to my knowledge, they’re saving lots of dollars. Not much of a compensation as you say compared to 3 luxury nights. I don’t think the Trident is that flash.

Today is Thursday 25 Jan in Australia and still no update from SS, I am also booked on the 11 Feb cruise from Mumbai to Singapore. Last conversation I had with my consultant at SS was 16 Jan and was advised to book 3 nights accommodation myself in Mumbai from 11 Feb to 14 and my consultant would try and reimburse me for the hotel booking. I was scheduled to fly into Dubai for the 26 Jan Sailing and had to change flights to fly into Mumbai. The whole thing has been handled very badly, I’m wondering if it is because I booked port-to-port. Has anyone in Australia experienced anything similar. Please let me know. Charli001

Thank you for the update Terry. We in Australia have not heard about this change from Silverseas in fact we’ve had no communication since the email 14 Jan saying the 26 Jan cruise is cancelled. Are you saying that we arrive in Mumbai 11 Jan for 3 nights there and board Silvermoon on 14 Jan, that would be wonderful.
