Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. The Celebrity Elite Happy Hour is much more similar to the original Diamond Lounge Happy Hour. There's a limited list of drinks available, rather than the voucher concept on Royal where you can get virtually any drink, anytime, anywhere.
  2. I've sailed in Alaska extensively over the years, both on Celebrity and Royal Caribbean, and the ships have always changed from Pacific to Alaska time. I would be surprised if the time onboard didn't change to local time.
  3. @mahdnc Have a wonderful cruise! I did the transit last year on Millenium and loved every minute of it. Along with several others, I'll be joining Summit in Los Angeles for the beginning of the Alaska season, so can't wait to hear what your comments about the ship!
  4. Make friends with the crew! If you let them know you're alone and just stepping away, I've found they will refrain from clearing and otherwise "save" your spot.
  5. I sail solo 90% of the time. I always say, I'm 'solo', but never alone. It's easy to meet people if you're so inclined - I've made many long-term friends onboard - but, as others have mentioned, you can do what you want to do when you want to do it. Enjoy!!
  6. Book your daughter now and then have her be a 'no show' if she can't make it. Adding a 4th person at a later date will be subject to muster station capacity - even if the cabin accommodates a 4th person. If the muster station is already full, you may not be able to add her.
