Just got a call from Princess Guest Services regarding Star Cruise and if I had any questions regarding what had happened. I advised them that we will be keeping the cruise and look forward to sailing should it leave on time. Advised by Guest Services that because it is a guaranteed inside cabin, that there is a possibility of being upgraded... we shall see when the time comes... either way I am happy with this. Another thing... I just got an email saying 20% off Mediterranean Shore excursions ending May 12... but you can't book any excursions on this boat as of yet.... Another screw up by the marketing department....

No, I meant the boat can't be in Australia and the Caribbean at the same time... as they are still selling the Grand Caribbean in November....

I just wanted to say thank you Dog for posting this... I am not at all disappointed as even with an inside cabin it's still a bargain to what we would have paid and on a new boat. Let's hope it goes... lol. Would I have liked to get what I originally booked... YES!, but am happy that they at least gave us an inside cabin instead of nothing. Yes, the drink package would have made it more palatable, but overall, I am still going.

Absolutely.... The communication email that was sent was so top down that it left a bad taste in everyone's mouth. It left a lot of questions unanswered. Let alone the Princess Reservations had no idea what any one of us was talking about. A lot of wasted time spent on hold on our side and tying up the reservations line on their side. If Princess would of offered the "drink package" included with the inside cabin, most of us would have been happy that they were trying to accommodate their error...and that would have made it more palatable...
