  1. You could always do the old ' vodka in the mouthwash bottle trick'... I "heard" it work great :D:D:D

lol......don't want to have to go to the naughty room. Hubby forgot he had a bottle of wine he was bringing and did have it in his carry on. It went through the scanner and they pulled him aside. I Laughed. :)

  2. I came up with nothing on a search. ,,,which is odd as I am sure it has been addressed a zillion times.. It has been over 3 years since we sailed and I don't known if rules have changed.

Is any liquor allowed to be brought on the ship WITHOUT a charge?? How about water or other beverages?? I know on Princess we were allowed to years ago.

    Thanks. :)

  3. You would have to take one trolley about 2.5 miles to the east end of Las Olas and then get another to go west for almost 2 miles to get the the downtown area. For more info:www.suntrolley.com

If you take a taxi, you will go a shorter way and it is only about 2 miles, so it is an inexpensive ride.

Thanks......I did print out a trolley map already....but didnt know how far it was.

  4. Maybe it is your software, I just tried it and got right through to the check out stage. In any event the discounted online purchase price is $17 per adult.

Thanks....I'm not going to try it again.....it keeps messing up my computer for some reason.

On another note. Has anyone used the Sun Trolley to get around FLL from Hyatt Place North to Las Olas with much luck? Is it a smooth ride.....or a a hassle?? We will have most of the day on a Friday and all day on a Saturday before a Sunday cruise departure. Just wondering if the Sun Trolley is a good choice rather than taking cabs.

    Thanks :)

  5. We have done it, it's a bit touristy but nonetheless fun. We have just got our discounted tickets online from their site...perhaps it was just a bad hair day.

Thanks.....I tried their website again and it still locked up my computer.....odd. I did see that the adult tickets were $17.50 pp. Is this the going rate or are there other discounts to be found??

  6. We are sailing next month out of FLL. We are arriving 2 days prior to cruising. Someone mentioned to my husband that we should go on the Jungle Queen. Any tips or info on this. I did find a website....but it didnt work correctly and froze my computer. Where would the best place be to get discounted tickets?? Thanks. :)

  7. We are staying at the Hyatt Place North in FLL for 2 days pre-cruise in September. I have been reading alot on CC about the area.....but I am still not sure what will be the best options for us on those 2 days. We are arriving early so I hope the hotel can secure our luggage. We are both early 50's and hubby and I like to eat (moderately priced) and have a few cocktails. He likes the beach and sun....I do not. Somewhere with good Italian food that has pizza since I am a vegetarian. A lounge or pub for a few cocktails at night. Any suggestions.....needs to be in short walking distance from the hotel. Thanks!!!

  8. Yes, NCL has its own program. You pay $250 per future credit and get a $100 on board account credit for your current cruise, so your net cost is $150. This future cruise credit can then be used as the full deposit for one cabin on a future sailing...now up 4 years after you purchase it.

Are you saying NCL's is up to 4 years to sail? We just purchased ours in March and it had gone up to 30 months. Thanks

EDIT: Never mind....found it on the NCL site......it now lists 4 years. Wow...in only a few months it has been changes out that far. Good for them and us!
