Yes. I'm glad it's not an accessible cabin. I admit those didn't look as nice, and I like the bathroom stall in the regular cabins. I will be very happy no matter! I feel like I got a good deal!

I just got a great upgrade deal from a concierge to a guaranteed suite, which turned out to be an aqua suite on deck 10. However, it is the one most forward and is a little obstructed. I did a search here and on the internet in general, and it seems like the obstruction isn't bad but the bridge can see down on you? I'm asking my TA if it's possible to switch because there are other open aqua suites very close to that one. But I just thought I'd see if anyone has been in one of those rooms. Either way I'm going to be very happy. It was a very good price for the upgrade to a sky suite, and with the aqua now I can try Blu too and use the spa. 🙂

Hello! I’m going on the Beyond in May with my mom and decided to try a move up bid to a sky suite. But I can’t find any pictures with the beds separated. I think they do separate. Right? Anyone have any pictures?

Hi! There is a flash sale I thought about taking advantage of today, but I am not sure I understand. Is the premium wifi for two devices meant for one person or two people? It says per person, but the picture shows two people. And I'm not sure how they would know if you are in a room together? It would be quite a bit cheaper with the flash sale. Does anyone know? Oh! I just purchased this. I might cancel it but the sale was pretty good for my cruise. I'm not getting the alcoholic drink package because I don't drink enough to make it with it. This cruise will be with my mom for mother's day. I thought she might find it fun.

I was assigned maybe a week later? The room seems fine. The only thing that may bother me is that it’s a connecting room and I don’t usually book connecting rooms because I’m noise sensitive. But I did a search and it seems like most people have not had any problems.

I’m on the Ascent now. It had been a long time since I’d been to the Cayman Islands. Got off the ship and was confused by no official taxi stand. My plan had been to go to coral beach but I got corralled 😂 into one of the taxis? Buses? Not sure what to call them. The ladies were nice and said public beach was better because coral beach was small, so I went with it. It was crowded but beautiful! Was not upset. But I’m going back with my 80 year old mom in May and want to make things as easy as possible. It felt kind of stressful. I noticed there is a long wait for taxis to fill up and they aren’t very honest about that. I get it. They want to make money. But I would have paid more not to sit in a van for 30 minutes waiting for passengers. I didn’t get to see Coral Beach so I have no frame of reference. I’d guess we’d probably spend 2-3 hours maximum. Suggestions? Would coral beach be easier? Is the water pretty? Is there a way to get a private taxi for more money and bypass the big buses? Thanks!

This is my first time on celebrity. But on Princess, RC, NCL and Disney, I don’t ever remember a good burger. But I’m super picky, which is why I usually only eat in the specialty restaurants. They have been great—although I wouldn’t do Le Petit Chef again. That was the least good. It was cute but once was enough. Eden was the best. Fine Cut was great. Rooftop Grill was surprisingly good despite it being less money than the others. Raw was good but the portions were very small, which is a little strange since the portions are so generous in all the other restaurants. I’m doing Le Voyage tonight. Also, the salads in the Eden Cafe were very good! I found them the last day. I’ll do a write up when I’m off, but I had a really good time despite having a lingering cough of 4+ months than no one can figure out. People probably think I have Covid. 😢😢😢😢 (Also why I did not drink much since doctors think it could be silent GERD.) The next trip is a Mother’s Day cruise. Maybe I’ll stop coughing by then? I’m really looking forward to that because I took my mom on Princess in December after not cruising for probably 10 years, and it was pretty disappointing. I think she’s going to love it. I hope the Beyond has a piano player. I think I heard this was new on the Ascent, and I have enjoyed him so much!!! If I could give two “ooops” they would be the placement of the walking path. And although I actually really LIKE the infinite veranda the captain locked us out all morning. Did not like that. But I find it very relaxing. And my mom likes to sleep with the balcony door open so she’ll be thrilled! 😂

I’m on the Ascent now and like it so much I booked two more Edge class sailings. 1. I have the zero proof package. I was also confused about the additional tip on alcoholic drinks. I first tipped extra and then didn’t when I realized it said gratuity was included. I didn’t notice any particular difference in service. I booked a zero proof on my upcoming sailing with my mom because neither of us are big drinkers. Just doesn’t make sense. I’ve only had about 4 alcoholic drinks the whole trip. 2. I thought the food at the mast grill wasn’t great. But is it EVER really great at the complimentary pool deck grills? I can’t remember one cruise where that food has been good. The specialty restaurants have been great, which is what I care about.

I booked a guaranteed concierge for the May 12 on Beyond because I wanted to take that trip for Mother’s Day with my mom. I have never had a guaranteed cabin before but all the regular verandas were sold out. I can’t see any of the category that are obstructed but I suppose we could be under something noisy. I hope not! I’m not picky about forward or aft.

I’m on now and couldn’t agree more! I booked the Beyond for two more cruises while I’m on here! One with my mom for Mother’s Day and one with my husband after our daughter leaves for college in September. I would have booked the Ascent again but the schedules didn’t line up. The one thing I’ve noticed, which doesn’t bother me, is that the music and entertainment seems mostly geared to people who are GenX (which I am). But a lot of the people on the cruise are older and don’t seem as into it. You’re only as young as you feel. I think my 80 year old mom is really going to like it. But there have been a few times when I looked around and noticed a lot of people seemed sort of bored. Maybe they were just being quiet? I have really liked the piano player!

I booked for a May Mother’s Day cruise with my mom and think I might book again for a September ABC with my husband. I’m hooked!

I’m on the Ascent now and it is so much fun!! I love it!!! I took my mom on the Sky Princess in December and no offense to Princess lovers but this cruise is 100 times better in every way. Now I want to take my mom on one of the Edge class ships but it looks like only the Beyond will fit our schedule. Is it different than the Ascent? I saw some people complain about food on different ships, and so far the food and entertainment have been awesome! Eden and the shows there are great. Just so elegant but fun! I’d hate to take her on the Beyond and it not be as good.

Hi! I actually did call back yesterday and was able to make the changes. This person was really nice, and although it took a bit of time to get it sorted out, all was good! Thank you. I don't know why that first person was so mean. Maybe having a bad day? But this person I talked to was very nice.

Thank you! I’m just going to let this go! Better for my wallet in the long run anyway! I will probably end up drinking maybe two vodka and club sodas a day, so it’s better anyway.

Thanks. 🙂 I’d honestly just decided to do the in stateroom bar setup. I don’t drink wine. I don’t really drink that much. But my traveling partner said it was much more triggering to have the bottle in the room than for me to drink while they had mocktails. I think this is a sign. Wow. I’m sorry. I’m still a little confounded why they were so rude and dismissive. I unfortunately had the misfortune to speak to the same person and he was clearly very angry that I called back and then asked to speak to a supervisor. I understand they don’t want people sharing drinks. But he was very rude and dismissive when I was trying to spend more money.

You were right and the guy was an absolute jerk and refused to put me through to his supervisor—said they would not speak to me and would tell me the same thing, with major attitude. He said it wasn’t true and then when I read out the information he was a total jerk and said this must be new and I said I don’t think so. Wow. I declined to purchase the package with him because I was honestly surprised he’d been so rude to me? And I told him that. How weird. I was trying to spend MORE money! I will think about it but did not want to deal with that guy again. 😞

Ok. Thank you. I’m not 100% sure it’s worth it. Like I said, they were dumb to say no because I don’t even drink very much. I just thought it would be nice not to think about it.
