One of the privileges of a Black Card is Complementary specialty restaurant Tasting menu dinner for two. Can anyone explain this to me, thanks.

The haven "freebies" are better but MSC is almost $4800.00 lower. I can get a lot of specialty dining for that price.

Thank you for all your replies. Booked the Seaside YC today for Feb 23 sailing. Looking forward to it. I have sailed about 5-6 times in the Haven and the price keeps going up and the service keeps going down. My last cruise in the Haven we hardly saw our butler nor the concierge.

I would stay away from Budget downtown, especially if your picking up a car there, what a mess.

we are thinking of taking our firat MSC cruise. We are looking at the Seaside and have a couple of questions.

1) we have sailed mainly with NCL in their Haven suites, I was wondering if MSC Yacht Club has it's own pool?

2) we will be bring our grandkids and also wondering if MSC has a kids club and if anyone knows how it compares with NCL.

We just came back from 10 days on the Explorer. Our muster station was the Pacific Rim dining room and we were told to carry our life jackets. During the drill we had to put them on however we did not need to go to the lifeboats. When asked we were told that because you step directly from the deck into the lifeboat there was no need. Hope this helps!

Why don't you go to your roll call. Usually there are other cruisers planning excursions and are looking for other cruisers to join them to form small groups to get better rates. I've done this many times and the excursions are very good. Usually the group is only 10-12 people.

We will be on the Voyager sailing Hong Kong on April 8. The ship sails at 6:00, I was wondering what is the earliest we can board, thanks

Sorry if this question has been asked before. This is our first cruise with Regent and was wondering if they handle the muster drill as NCL does, no life jackets and the drill is held in different venues on the ship instead of lining up outside by the lifeboats?

We have sailed many times with NCL(Haven) and they have 2 shows nightly, usually at 7 and at 9. This will be our first Regent cruise and I was wondering if Regent has the same.

I need some clarification on using OBC shore excursion credits.

I am eligible to get 10% off excursions, I have the $50.00 per port credit.

I also have $175.00 OBC.

 

Can I apply the 10% and get the $50.00 port credit then pay for the excursions using the $175.00 OBC?

I know the $50.00 will be applied to account after the shore excursion.

 

I wasn't sure if NCL allowed multiple discounts

They will allow it. We had 15% discount plus the $50/shore excursion and OBC. They allowed all three. The $50/excursion will only be credited after you take the excursion.

We are not into anything other level 1 activities, for health reasons.. We did the duck tour and walked the around the town.. The weather was fantastic 70 and sunny. Enjoyed Alaska very much

We have an upcoming Alaskan cruise and i was just wondering if NCL charges the state tax on beverages like they do in Miami?
