  1. I can't even begin to express my frustration with these "watches" and the staff in the watch store. My son was dying for one of the watches so he picked one but the salespeople wouldn't fit it for him!

More detail on page 13 of my Liberty review - post 256 and 283

No more on board shopping for me (unless it's liquor because I KNOW you can't mess that up!)

its pretty easy to fit them. there is a pin you remove and move to another slot.

  2. I read 'most' of the posts on this thread and didnt read anywhere on the REAL issues here

    - Does the dog have to dress up on Formal Night?

    - Does the dog have to go to the muster drill?

    - Can the dog leave a bone early in the morning on a lounge chair and come back a few hours later?

    - Can the dog request the automatic tips be removed?

    - Can the dog use his/her birth Certificate or does it need a passport?

    - Can the dog smoke e-cigs in the no smoking areas?

    :p

  3. the idea of a 'souvenir' cup that you pay extra for is so you can keep it as a souvenir. If they take it away from you, wash it and resell it, that would no longer be considererd a souvenir cup.

I have always been able to keep my souvenir cups and in some cases they have taken mine and gave me a brand new one not used yet.

But you are supposed to keep the cup since you paid for it.

  4. I never had this happen either... (I have been on the Dawn and the Spirit)

I got the souvenir glass and if I wanted another drink they took my glass and did not charge me the additional 2.25

also I had 5 or 6 souvenir glasses sitting in my room and the cleaning staff never ever touched them.

    so

    1. Serve all drinks in specialty glasses unless the customer specifically requests otherwise. The waiters do not ask you if you want a souvenir glass or not.

    I believe this is true

    2. Pick up all specialty glasses to be washed and resold from both the bars and pool area unless the customer specifically asks otherwise.

I do not believe this is true. Never happened to me

    3. Cabins stewards remove all used souvenir glasses from cabins unless the costumer instructs otherwise.

I do not believe this is true. Never happened to me

  5. Hi, just got back from Bermuda and I'm here to report about Duke Soares. A little background of him. He's an older gentleman who is a history buff. He knows his island very well. Was born in Bermuda but he has Portuguese roots and married to an English lady who mans the docks in St George's.

He was there at the pier waiting for us with our name. He asked if there are any particular places we want to see and we told him he's the boss. We went to most of the island attractions stopping at St George to look around ourselves and did a little shopping.

We are very happy we did his tour. Took 5 hours and worth every penny.

Just Booked Duke for Sept 1st. Starting to get antsy ... is it here yet? is it here yet? is it here yet? is it here yet? is it here yet? is it here yet?

    :)
